Never liked the color Myself

First the team from OH is going to give the team from PA 60 Minutes.

Go ALBRIGHT

Purple, the color of royalty.
Here's hoping it's a full 60 minute game. Getting kinda tired of listening to the second half on my way home
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

I observed the opponent first hand today while picking up our tickets. I exuded the class that is THE MOUNT UNION UNIVERSITY, I was driving  by the buses and gave a shout out to # 4. I said I am praying for no injuries and GOOD LUCK!!!! I left my calling card with LK and hope to inspire an indirect position next year. How about a 53 year old gunner on the KICKOFF TEAM, YES STRANGER THINGS HAVE HAPPENED> GOD, I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR<<<<<< THANK YOU GOD FOR SMILING UPON ME!!!!!!!!I I write this post UNDER THE INFLUENCE BUT MADE IT THROUGH THE GAUNTLET THAT IS N. CANTON. GOOD Luck to all that remain. Last MAN STANDING WINS!!!!!

I apologize to all of the poster on the board. I generally do not spout of like this. I am going through some BAD STUFF> I played for the HOOVER VIKINGS and graduated in 1976. WE lost one football game from our 8th grade year on. Freshmen year we lost to GLENOAK 8-0. Prior to that game we were UNDEFEATED & UNSCORED UPON. Our halfback and DB passed away on Thanksgivng from a massive heart attack. His 440 record for the county stood for about 15 years before it was broken. Tomorrow night myself and about 25 team mates will toast the passing of BILLY MOORE who was an exceptional athlete and PERSON> Sorry to carry on about  this  but it hit way to close to home. GOD REST HIS SOLE> I AM A LUCKY MAN TO HAVE GROWN UP WITH BILLY>

I remember that GlenOak - Hoover game, I was on the GlenOak staff at the time.

It's very hard when your childhood friends begin to pass.  Not only have we lost a friend, but our own mortality comes crashing in.  My most sincere condolences to you, your teammates, and Billy Moore's family.

skunk:

Absolutely no need for apologies, man.  What you have shared with us and the memories/experiences you have are important; we've all been there (and/or will be).  I join the others in adding my thoughts and prayers for the Moore family as well as you and all your other teammates and friends.  Keep the Faith, friend.

Skunk,
No need for apologies. In a time of year it's very easy to get carried away, you've helped remind us to keep perspective. We sometimes react as if we are dealing with life and death issues when in fact we should be thankful when we are not. I'm praying you are able to cherish the memories of your friend and that God comforts you as you contemplate the loss of your friend.

May all the players on all the remaining teams cherish the experience today, play their best, and remain injury free.

Skunk:  I'll echo the "no need for apologies" sentiment.  Your friend's family (along with Mr. Mom's and Acky) are in our prayers.

Being a strange, sad couple of days around here.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Its the reason WE played the game. The friends and memories we still have.  I got my nose broke by a guy who went on to play for the NY Giants. As close as I ever got to the bigs. The corner on the other side emails me from Colorado all the time.43 years and we're still buddies.

I hope it is a full 60 minutes as well. I think Mount needs the test to stay focused on the prize. However, I can't help but feeling that Mounts 1st unit will give 40 minutes - but Albright will be convinced it was a full 60.

Skunk-All the best. I played against Hoover in high school, and we had ZERO luck against them. Nothing seems to have changed since your days there.

GO RAIDERS

Kira & Jaxon's Dad

MUC recovers a fumble in the endzone to make the score 55-3 to beat HSCoach's spread.  Hopefully the D won't allow a garbage score with 3 minutes to play.

Another reinforcement that Ohio Northern and/or Otterbien are better teams than we've seen yet in the playoffs

Ok men (and any women).....Friday night at the Wing Warehouse!  Figure around 7 ish, and I will make sure we  have tables.  I will get a count later next week to see how many we think we will have.

Also, the usual margarita crowd will be at Poncho's on Saturday morning.  I am really looking forward to seeing Wesley, and I think it will be a great game.

Good game to watch.  Alb had a well coached team.  they were disciplined and sound in  the fundamentals.  they shot themselves in the foot most of the day.  8 0r 9 turnovers?  Mt. had 6 TO.   Good fan base as well.  On to Wesley No. 3 against no. 1.  Anything could happen next week.
