Quite frankly my concern rests with our running game. If Morring is not effective or gets hurt, who carries the load?  Our running back depth is a major unanswered question at this time of the season. I would say Lemon is next in line but given the fumbles who knows. As long our running game remains effective enough to keep the Wesley defense off-balance and from selling out on the pass, I think we are in good shape. But if we can't run and become one dimensional and the pressure is ratcheted up on Rocco, things could change. Should be a good one.

Safe travels to the Wesley fans making the trek to Alliance.

NOT looking forward to the drive... if only I can get done with work to leave the better half of Ohio for Alliance!!

I also think I'm going to make my first trip to Salem next weekend... should be fun.  Hopefully MUC can win this game so at least I know someone down there besides Pat Coleman and Wesleydad.

I say way below average special teams hurt Wesley a lot and pop passes to the tight-end and passes to Morring swinging out of the back field kill the defensive surge. Some long ones to Shorts and Petru (or Claycombe) break their backs.

PS I ordered the Blimp again ;)

I had bad feeling going into both semi losses, for many reasons. My only feeling this time is Progressive better get my Liberty fixed by Friday  morning  :D

Anybody know where I can find a purple pimp hat with a giant feather for Salem

Skunk!  Go get our tickets!  Don't forget to stop into the Wing Warehouse and remind them we are coming.  And honey....can you pick up my dry cleaning on the way home?   ::)

One more thing.......you know how I HATE when you drink too much at parties....so please keep it down to about a 12-pack tonight ok?   ;)

LOL,  a 12-pack won't even begin to fill his left leg! :o
But I'm sure you know that dear! LOL  See you all there tonight, should be a blast before the blast! ;D

For some reason, have a bad feeling about Wesley....they have a stout defense--solid tackles and outstanding DE's.  According to sources, we haven't had a good week of practice offensively.  IF Wesley can shut down the running game and put pressure on Rocco from the outside-in, this game gets really interesting.  Their safety (6'3",215) is a transfer from Iowa....don't think he will be intimidated by "the machine" banner. :-[

How great was it to see Browns beat Sh!tsburgh last night??  5 losses in a row for the mighty defending Super Bowl champs...

Trying to be incognito??  We all know a saintsfan when we see one!

Hope to see many of you at Wing Warehouse tonight--if anybody cares I will be getting there between 7:30 and 8:00--I understand that Andy Feltersnatch will be making his first public appearance--and despite the name change is supposed to be buying all the drinks this evening!  ;D ;D

I've got a Memorial Dedication for my mother-in-law at her old law firm and dinner after. Still trying to make WW. (not Wisconsin at Walmart). May have to excuse the suit and tie.

I also got a sick feeling, but mine is more like; I tell my wife what a tight game this will be and make my excuses and don't help her Dad move tomorrow. Then, just like every time before that I have to call at halftime and say we're up 30 but it's really still close and then when she reads the sports tomorrow, I'm admitting it was never close.  ;) This can't turn out well for me  8)

he might forget that he transferred and wonder why he is chasing down Teddy Ginn in a purple jersey however....Cecil is going to have a huge day

thewaterboy is in fact a teenager who has ties to the Wesley team amd he doesn't get to see Wesley play because he lives in Ohio.  And he is NOT  the size of an offensive linemen.

seventiesraider

before last two weeks I would have said that the swing pass was kiling Wesley but they adjusted and have turned thoise passes into losses for the opposing O's. and teams haven't had much success across the middle after one or two passes because of some of the hits the linebackers and safties have made.  not many teams have seemed to try a speed reciever in that area  and I don't know if it's what the see on film or the QB's have trouble seeing them with the pressure Wesley ahs benn able to get

I think you had better do the "better part of valor" and do those other things! ;)  You'll be in (a) "deep ____" (you guys insert appropriate noun ::) ;D)  if you don't!!!  If it were me and I had a choice, I guess I'd do those things, miss this game, then make sure I made it to the Stagg Bowl.  Besides, it is going to be freezing tomorrow, so perhaps one could reason that they'd have more fun "freezing it off" at the Stagg Bowk than at your home stadium - you guys get to the former way more than you get to the latter, although one might say those are pretty equal in a "relative comparison" way! ;)  Good luck!

Andy Feltersnatch is still in Cincy right now trying to tie up some loose ends.  I'm coming ASAP...but Wing Warehouse might be without me tonight.

Sh!t.... well hopefully MUC can find someplace on the field to pass the ball.  How does Wesley do if a WR lines up 30 yards behind the LOS and someone throws him the ball?  Is that enough room?   ;)
