Cleveland Cartel,

I have sat in Section 13 for a number of years and resent your comment that it's the worst. Thankfully we don't sit on our a** all game and act like it's a tea party. And the fans most of you talk about do not drop F-bombs or anything of that nature. They simply extend their right to have fun.

section 13 gets ripped all the time about there cheering for our boys and down playing the( posers). well at last week game did you see the stands. Where was all you snivelers then, to cold for ya. our faithful section 13 was there.i say when you are to old to stand up and have fun you just might be taking a sit away from a true purple fan

Last year at the Stagg Bowl we sat behind a "spirited" group of Mount students who were fond of using a few of George Carlin's seven words.  Most were apologetic and even embarrassed because we had young boys with us.  I wasn't crazy about their word choices but understand its a chance you take with kids at a sporting event.  As my son once told a fellow coach who apologized for his language once, "Its okay.  Its football."

That one poor fellow didn't have a very good time though.  Asleep with a pool of vomit at his feet.  I think I still have a picture.

I know it's Stagg Week, but thought some of you "Bah-Humbug"  MUC'ers would enjoy this....

The e-card brought tears to my eyes.  The various pictures of the bridge reminded of the the night I fell off it.  Fortunately it was frozen solid and I hit head first.  Could have been hurt if I'd landed on something vital.

Thanks, that was my intent for posting it....the Holidays are all about fond memories.

Local tradition at our Fraternity was to toss any Brother into the pond if he got pinned or engaged.  One night we carried a brother down there to throw him in.  After a count of three we let go and threw him into an area where there was only about 2-3 feet of water.  Needless to say he hit the bottom pretty hard.
I had the task of cleaning those ponds out about 6-8 years ago  ::) when they were to say the least disgusting.  Talk about muc-raking! :-\ Once we got them cleared and got the areation systems going again! WOW, what a difference! Even the occasional duck is happy now! ;D

Did  you find my underwear?  That nasty black loam and decades of decaying leaves tried to suck me down to Davy Jone's locker back in 1981.
Never underestimate the stimulation of eccentricity.

can a one-time champ really be called a "Goliath?"  The five title games in a row is tremendously impressive, but come on

Just hadn't heard from ya in awhile Suit, thought it was time to get reacquainted with only a couple days before THE GAME!  ;D

And UWW will gladly concede the Goliath title to MUC. In case you never heard the story, Goliath LOST! It can be found in 1 Samuel Chapter 17.

Oh, that's in the Bible, Suit. Maybe your neighbor has one you can borrow....  ;D

That's quite an understatement.

Safe travels.  We'll be in town by late Friday afternoon.

EVERYONE BE SAFE!the next perfect storm is brewing!!

Ha, you beat me to it.  I was just getting ready to post a weather link.  Glad we're starting our drive Friday morning.

In terms of the game, I'd much rather be playing in 25 & snow than 35 and rain.  Hopefully Mount brought their all white uniforms too.  They could use it as camo.

Two hours south of Salem, they're calling for just 2-4 inches of snow.  Regardless, I hope everyone remembers that people in VA don't always remember how to drive in the white stuff.  At lest Salem's close enough to the mountains for them to see it a couple of times a year, but I wouldn't be surprised if the stores are sold out of bread and eggs with what they're predicting.  I'm going to try my drive Saturday morning.  It looks like I'm leaving earlier and earlier each time the weather comes on.

NCAA site still counting down for a 2:00PM kickoff. They really care about D3. And don't miss the tailgate party from 10:00 to 2:00. "Behind the Blue Disk" it's all about the big money.

I emailed them about the count down to kickoff and it looks like they fixed that.
