we wre here and it is snowing pretty hard already.  looks like a fun trip to hooters and the game tomorrow.  10 miles north so hope that the road is plowed somewhat in the morning.
where is here wesleydad?  give me a call:540-908-1263.  I'm at the Quality Inn.  Everybody else seems to be in trailers in the parking lot at the stadium.  I don't know about Roocru and his group.

Yup, that's what it looks like. The team left their hotel at three to go to stadium for game situation drills. After 430 they gave up and turned back. Pizza places not delivering, restaurants closed. And MAYBE 3 inches on the ground. It's. a different world.  Sorry lots of folks can't make it. We'll do our best cowbell imitations,  Seventies...

Kehresma, One of the parents from Miami is staying at Quality Inn where I am.  He went for a ride in the snow around 4 pm and I haven't seen him since.  I may be worrying about nothing, but people from Miami don't know how to drive in snow.  His name is George and his son is a sophomore.  That's all I know.  Thanks for any help you can give.  See you tomorrow.

Acky

Is anyone staying at the hotels with the teams hearing anything about a possible movement of the game until Sunday?  According to the interview on the Daily Dose the major concern is fans being able to get to the game tomorrow.

Kira & Jaxon's Dad

Tried to drive 9 miles to MUC event and roads too treacherous.  Back to hotel dinner at Shoneys and early night.

We are here, thankfully in one piece! Was nice ride until Blacksburg at 2:30 then all heck broke loose! I81 north and south turned into a used parking lot and instead of a 30 minute drive into Salem it turned into a 2 hour 15 minute drive! :o We are at the la Quinta and still have plans to tailgate and word is the game is "still on" hmmm, provided you brought or sled and mudders!! :o gotta laugh at the sign at BK out front says "let it SNOW" ...be careful what you wish for! I hope and pray everyone that has attempted to get here has made their destination at this point. If you weren't able to make it because of the red eye cancellation, beleive me, consider yourself lucky!

Olinemom- I can attest to the driving skills or lack thereof of South Floridians, although I too have met George and I trust his skills behind the wheel, my brother reports the WV turnpike was a total nightmare starting at 4:00 and he is just now making into VA and from MtFan reports, it looks like it may be a long night for the late arriving Mount crew

We've been in Salem since about 5:00 PM.  Took three hours from Blacksburg to Salem on 81.

Roads in town are not too bad now that traffic has died down.  Found a Pizza joint called Frank's open.  Food was not too bad.  Hotel seems rather empty.

One of our party has a son in the band who told us the band bus, which was to leave Alliance at 4PM has been cancelled.  I imagine the "red eye" sheduled for 1AM won't come either.  We ran into the early fan bus in Marietta so I know those folks will be here.  The stands may be rather empty.

GO RAIDERS!!

I feel for everyone making the trip to Salem. Hopefully everyone makes it safe. I hate to see mother nature play havoc with fans and the game.
That being said, Go Mount!
I enjoy seeing  "The Machine" dominate. Keep football supremacy in Ohio.

reality check

Hope everyone gets in and out safely.  I will be safe too with a nice view on the new flatscreen and 73 degrees in AZ.

Despite all the weather my prediction is 63-58.  I don't know who wins but if they put up 121 points and stay close, I have a chance to win the playoff pickems too.

In all seriousness, I'll say 31-24 MUC wins.
