We stayed home. I couldn't leave till 4:00 and wasn't willing to risk it.

To all to make it, good luck and bring home another winner for MUC, before we are MUU

Totally off the record, my daughter got her acceptance to Heidelberg. At least I'm keeping her in the OAC

Smart move not driving.  We'll try again next year.  (hopefully)

And BHTH, we have a good chance of getting more snow here in Prince William County than they will in Salem.

Congrats on your daughter (I guess).

Let's hope Big Mike continues to improve HU football for the years I gotta drive to Tiffin.

My son,, that's a whole other issue.

Actually, given the problems my friends have been having getting their kids into decent colleges, I officially and humbly remove the "(I guess)".   :-[

rscl70 we hope to be there around 7:30. We'll have the white raider flag up with the blue tent assuming they will allow tailgating and the lot is not totally mounds of snow! It is still coming down here at 10 pm and doesnt seem to want to let up too much. We are pulling rescue duty for olinemom to make it to the tailgate to deliver her brownies and one Mount parent unable to make it to the stadium since he flew in to the airport which is now close. he hasn't driven in snow! LOL ...isn't that considered trial by fire?  Let's hope the football gods part the skies and this game gets the fair opportunity it should deserve and both teams come through with no injuries. GO RAIDERS!!

Had to cancel our trip as well--very, very disappointed--I was really looking forward to the game this year.  For those of you who made it--rock on for the RAIDERS!!  I'll be in front of a TV--you may hear my screams all the way down in Salem.  Friend's house or Wing Warehouse????

$h!t--I really want to be there!!
Reloading--Again, and again, and again....

The live shots from the Hokie Cam at VT make me glad to be home

to be honest...i'd give up a nice sunny warm vacation in hawaii or florida for this one day in snowy cold Salem Virginia...I can't wait to see this game on TV...hopefully it is injury free!!!

Good Luck to the Purple Raiders tomorrow.   :)  Here's hoping for a great game, a clean game, and injury free game!

Show them again what D3 is all about!

And to the UWW fans ... please be careful ...

I know that you can [1] handle mosquitoes so large that they have to submit flight plans and [2] drive in weather that would make Eskimos turn back, but remember ...

YOU are in Virginia.

These people can't drive in anything wet or white.

These are people of the land. The common clay of the new West. You know... morons.

Take care, eh!

One more weather update and some other topics in the latest installment of the "Sideline Guy" blog:

Still snowing, all night. Officially 1 foot in Roanoke so far. Olinemom, hope George rounded in safely last night. We also had to forego the MUC gathering and settle for BK chez LaQuinta...which is what has been keeping me up all night. :-[ Rumors of postponing the game, but nothing official. Team made hotel Res. for tonight. So did we  :D

jaypeter

We didn't get as much in Greensboro as they predicted so I'm going to try for it.  I'll either make the game, or get stuck somewhere in between.  Here's hoping for the first!

Go Raiders!
