Meyer withdrew his resignation and is taking a leave of absence now to get his health and priorities in order.  He has Dan McCarney on staff with D1 hc experience already, but could always use a man with experience helping to handle some of the offensive and adminstrative duties.  Hate the thought of LK anywhere else, but he would be a logical fit.  Still can't see it happening.

I hope you know that I was just kidding.  Maybe you had too many Adult Beverages at Epcot yesterday and thought I was serious?  LOL

I knew you were joking but UF is lacking leadership and direction in the offense that LK could provide.  Same could be said at OSU.  I would enjoy seeing him work in front of a larger audience to prove his ability.  The adult beverages at EPCOT provid great appreciation for German culture

Pierre Garcon has already been ruled out for the Wk 17 game against Buffalo.  I hope he's healthy enough to play once the playoffs begin.

I hope so, too. I'm thinking that he is just being held out because there's no reason to risk an injury.

PG had a hand injury while at Mount, wonder if this is the same hand.

Agree, hope he is ready for the playoffs. IMHO the Colts need him!

It's not a matter of risking an injury.  He's been out of practices for two weeks with this hand injury.  You would think the Colts would like to have Garcon and Collie catching a majority of the passes in week 17 from Sorgi so all the younger guys get reps.

Sorgi is on IR.  Colts only other backup QB is Painters and he didn't seem to do much passing this past weekend.  Did you read somewhere that Pierre hasn't been practicing?  I didn't see that anywhere.

I figured it was just as a precaution as the Colts will probably rest all of their starters (which they should at this point). I didn't look for specific reports on PG. I defer to RC-he is usually on top of these things.

So is that why he didn't shake hands after the 2007 Stagg Bowl? ;)

ESPN.com via rotowire.com reported that Garcon was held out of practice Wed, Thurs and Fri of this past week and Bill Polian has already announced he won't play in the season finale.  He's been limited since he left in the second half of the week 15 game.

My bad though on Sorgi.  I guess being Peyton Manning's backup is not really a position that gets a lot of attention (in my world anyways).
