Karisdad is your question about all decade team just for muc or all of the oac teams

Kira & Jaxon's Dad

Wanted it to be for all OAC, but I don't remember enough other players.  Wanted to get ALL posters involved.  Arth should get consideration, don't know if he beats Micheli out though.

IN terms of Capital, I would say the following-

Ron Swearingin HAS to be one of the LB's, and not just on the "All-OAC decade team" but the "D3 All-Decade team".  There hasn't been an LB in the OAC who even compared to him since Hall and Fletcher graduated.  He was a 3 time All-American and led the OAC in tackles all 4 years he played.

Same thing for Kyle Hausler at DB.  Not just All OAC, but all of D3.  OAC career interception record, multiple time all OAC and All American.

In terms of only All-OAC, you of course have to consider Rocky, but the QB position is pretty crowded with some of the greats at MUC, along with Arth, Larlham from BW, and probably Rafferty from OTT (he was a Gags award finalist).

Capital has had some WRs put up big numbers- Howes in particluar comes to mind, but he was only there at Cap for a year.  HE did most of his damage in terms of D3 records at Principia.  Derrick Alexander had big numbers with Rocky and for part of a season with Assmann throwing to him.

In terms of TE's, I think Kive Kraft would be a lock with a first team All-American honor on his resume.  My guess is that his numbers are FAR greater than any of the other TEs over the last decade in the OAC.  Dylan Kelly, who replaced Kraft, was another one with good numbers.  Of course, if you want to argue that those guys weren't REALLY TIGHT ENDS based on the offense Capital ran, I would hear you, but Collins called them TEs, so they are TE's.

On the OL, Tom Doyle was a Rimington Award winner for the best Center in the Nation in the early part of the decade and there have been some other really good OLs at Cap.

On the DL, Nick Bucci was a sack machine and Cap had a handful of other All-OAC DL's like Buddy Wolf and Jonathan Spring.

Other LBs outside of Swearingin might be Sickmeier and Ankrom

Cap has also had a couple of other DB's who should be considered, like James Starks and Ronnie Smith along with both Hauslers.

so, there are your capital guys for discussion...
