Who's the Kentucky Heisman kid?

My guess is Ryan Moses from Williamsburg HS who won the 2009 High School Heisman from Kentucky.
OAC Champs: 1942 (one title ties us with Ohio State)
OAC Runners-Up: 2017, 2016, 2015, 2010, 2009, 2005, 2004, 2001, 2000, 1999, 1982, 1941 (Stupid Mount Union!)
MOL Champs: 1952, 1950

I thought what OSU did at midfield was perfect.  This ain't tiddlywinks......and the Buckeyes needed to get their swagger back.  They then proceeded to back it up with their play.

It's too early to tell, but I wonder if the Kentucky high school Heisman kid has made up his mind regarding attending Mount or not.  The QB situation/competition next year will be fierce!

Does anyone have more information on this player to add to RC's post?
What other schools is he considering?

Well let's see...he was at the Mount vs. Marietta game, and I got a chance to chat with him for a short while.  He was VERY interested in Mount, and I heard he was coming to watch the Stagg Bowl.  Not sure if he made it or not with the weather, but at least to me that means he is somewhat interested in Mount.  The Cornell "offer" has been out there for a while.

My guess is he will wait to see if he gets other offers (similar to the Ashland kid last year), and then make a decision.  All I can say is.......he could be the next great QB.  Here's hoping......

At the beginning of this season both LK and Tressel had QBs that needed to refine their games to realize their potential. Who do you think did the best job of coaching their QBs? I gotta give the nod to LK myself. I feel Pryor still has an ugly throwing motion and suspect defense reading skills. Not to mention tunnel vision as regards to looking for receivers. On the other hand Rocco looked like  a much better QB than in his previous seasons. Especially the second half of the season.

If The Buckeyes had a QB injury that cost Pryor 3 weeks off, do you think the backup would have been effective? If Not, why not? If so, why so? Personally I believe that there would have been little drop off in production. Pryors running skills bailed out the O line, but I feel that if he was a quicker read, then the O line wouldnt need bailed out as much either.

QB-wise LK easily gets the nod.  Rocco progressed throughout the year and I don't think Pryor did. Luckilly, he has his legs to bail him out. I'm hoping there is someone else to call the offensive plays next year for the Bucks.

Thank god they finally won a big game.

As a Michigan fan (and alum), I am distraught that beating Michigan is no longer 'a big game'. :-[

Fire Tressel (an obvious bum ;)) - bring back John Cooper! ;D

Jeez, I though Raider fans were spoiled! :P

Felt like football all over again. Told my wife that the Raiders Womens' team had a tough matchup on Saturday and that Kev and I were going to Alliance. Just like when I say that in football season, I had to admitted that they won by 20 over Case and it was really over at the half.

Here is a question:

What are Neal Seaman's chances of being the starting QB in September? :-\

I know that to most this is a no brainer, but is there someone else
who could take it away?

What happened to the stud in camp from Florida. Was he not eligible this year. There are at least 2 junior qb's and 2 soph's including Seaman but Seaman has the game time and hopefully more exposure to his favorite target from High School. And I still think LK is very, very high on him. You just don't throw average Joe Freshman into games where you are expecting nothing but wins. He got him seasoned and hopefully he steps into the job next year and two more after that. Florida guy and Kentucky guy and West Branch guy all have to chase Seaman

We were happy that Larry let them fight it out for a while till someone stood up. It's not the fun way to coach, it doesn' let you sleep well at night, it doesn't make naming starters easy.

But I know he has a plan for all those young men and ones who are not here yet,
best man follows his plan and sticks to rules and is a team player will at least share the ball on opening day

the FL "stud" is Matt Piloto...you might have seen him on the sidelines warming up this season.  big boy, 6-6" with a reportedly equally big arm.  While I wouldnt expect Piloto to start right away...I know enough to know that LK doesnt just hand out the starting QB position, Seaman and all will have to earn the job

Rocco and Piloto looked very similar taking reps in summer camp.

Either way, hopefully someone steps up. Perhaps Piloto needed a season to get adjusted (although Seaman has been there the same amount of time).  Competition in camp is never a bad thing.....as long as someone rises to the top.
