I think Seaman was a real "get" for LK and he wanted to make sure he got every opportunity to show what he has.  I think the battle will be a good one.  Early reports are that Pilito (sp?) lights it up at practice but was not as impressive in full go scrimmages or JV games.. He has shown, however, brilliant flashes...
I think if you believe the Kentucky kid is coming to Mount Union you believe in Santa Claus...If he sees Mount it will be after an unhappy year at a scholarship school...

Good Points!

I agree that there will be a battle for the starting QB between Seaman and
Piloto.

My concern about Seaman is his arm strength, maybe it will get better but we have not seen him have the ability to go deep, but maybe I have not
seen him throw deep routes. Most all of Mount QB's had strong arms. Bruney was very mobile and quick but did not have a strong arm or size. :-\

The Kentucky QB will as you mentioned see what he get land via a larger
scholarship school first, so I think it is a long shot that Mount sees him.
No doubt Coach Kehres will be recruiting other top talent as well.

Both JV QB's will battle Seaman for the starting position this year.

Book it....... ;)

Rocco and Piloto looked very similar taking reps in summer cap.

Either way, hopefully someone steps up. Perhaps Piloto needed a season to get adjusted (although Seaman has been there the same amount of time).  Competition in camp is never a bad thing.....as long as someone rises to the top.

Seaman benefited from living just down the road in Louisville and I'm sure had seen far more Mount games and had a better sense of Alliance and Mount Union before day one.
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Seaman also was a regular at summer player-organized 7-on-7, working with Cecil, among others.  Undoubtedly a jump start over the others.
Piloto looked good in the JV games I saw.  Good arm, quiet feet, good decision-making.  Also a good line, lots of protection and a couple of WR's who caught just about everything thrown their way......

If the young man from KY has the gray matter to go to Cornel he should take that offer.  Might not be "big time" football, but that diploma carries a lot of clout.

If it will be Seaman, Piloto or someone else as the starting QB, Who will make up the 2010 receiving core with Claycomb as a for sure starter?

Now we have some real interesting possiblities? :-\

That is what I heard, seems as though he has some unfinished business
as a Raider for 2010!

Hope Kyle Miller returns as well, then we will really have something!
