Here's hoping

That would be great!! :)
Wabash & Augustana have players who have done it.  I didn't notice any other D3 teams on list.  I hope one more makes the list today.  :)

Raider 68

Congrats to the Saints for a great comeback! Congrats to Pierre for being in the Superbowl, 5 catches, 66 yards and a TD. The Colt Defense just could not stop the Saints.

Small but Slow

PG85 represented D3 proudly with a TD and some other big catches. The Saints deserved the win.

Ken Anderson, from Augie, was a SB QB for the Bengals in '82.  Should be in the HOF.

Mount has something Texas, Alabama and Auburn don't have: An alumni with a SuperBowl TD.
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Mr. Ypsi

Kenny Anderson (Augustana) threw for 2 TDs and rushed for one in Super Bowl XVI.  Pete Metzelaars (Wabash) scored a TD for the Bills in SB XXVI.

Can anyone come up with any other d3 SB TDs, or did Pierre score the third?

According to this article, PG is the third.

I grew up a Bengals fan following Anderson.  He was the prototype for today's pro QB's, managing the game completing a high percentage of his passes.  Mettzelars was an outstanding blocking Te who could make catches when needed.  PG is still young and should be back to the big game.  The Saints outplayed the Colts and had answers for everything thrown at them.

He's been wearing that all season

Pierre was probably the Colts best performing WR during the playoffs, who knows where Wayne was at tonight?  A great showing for MUC and D3.  I think he has proved himself as a legit NFL starter.  Amazing season, especially since he was basically "redshirted" last year.

any guesses as to when Mount gets the Garcon Indoor Practice facility?

After he signs his next contract.  Making the NFL minimum right now.

70's, Where to you get your info? I've never heard of Woo's desire to move to DII.

Athletic recruiters. Came up in the same breath as Malone and Walsh, from someone in the position to know.

Have you ever seen the movie "Soul Man" ???
After the Mount coaches had watched the Norwich highlight tape he'd sent them showing him impersonating a black athlete, huh?  :P

Maybe he was referring to the other players, not the coaches???
