Akron-Canton is still way closer than both and about a football field length walk from plane to rental car. Just the hassle of getting your bags in Cleveland makes changing planes in Denver worth it.  20 minute straight drive to Alliance

Dislocated the shoulder shoveling snow around New Years and it must have ripped then. Been playing games with the insurance company for three months.

Had rotator surgery in june,,was still doing therapy the following march,,toughest rehab I ever had to do

Bought a tractor with a plow.  Yep, tore the bicep as well.

We will be shaving nothing 8-)

My two PT's just walked by on their lunch break. Creepy

Thanks BH2H, I feel a whole lot better now :D

Looks like Coach Paul was able to come back to Northern Kentucky and get himself a QB prospect.  I haven't heard much about him, but I'm on the other side of the Ohio River for now...

Also... re:  Shoulder surgery.

I've had it twice.  First time they repaired my bicep (where connects to shoulder meets with labrum and rotator cuff) and my labrum.  2nd time they shaved my labrum down a bit and shaved some of my clavicle along with repairing the rotator cuff.  I probably need it again but no way... as someone said on here, the rehab is the worst I've had.  Much worse than ACL surgery in the knee, worse than the ankle surgery and worse than having my hamstring repaired.

Good luck with it.... but shouldn't they be taking you off the happy pills so you can do the surgery and have them at full effect for after??  You're going to need it.  It hurt to exhale the first 36 hours after my 2 surgeries.  Plus you have to be off that 5 days before because it thins your blood.  You don't want to cross over to the other side because you took a couple pills, do you?

Seventies - A buddy had his rotator cuff repaired, labrum shaved, and biceps tendon repaired in January and has been bowling for several weeks.  After only a couple weeks he felt better than he had in years. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

BTW --- you'll be able to do anything underhand about 2-3 months afterwards.... but anything overhand you can forget until at least October.   I also learned this one the hard way by trying to play softball (outfield) too soon.... had to pitch if I wanted to play.

If it didn't drop me to my knees when I reach or rotate it, I'd live with it. I know my ortho guy and he never saw a 15 minute procedure he couldn't turn into a life changing experience.

Looks as though my daughter may be a freshman equipment for the Berg. Coach Mike determined to get me black and orange  ;)  With a splash of red.

Depending on your insurance, I'd try to get a young female to help you with rehab. Not only will you enjoy the view but it will increase blood flow......................................to encourage healing.............

I tried to pick up a dime off the washing machine and had to raise it with my other hand  :P Since the spine started to close down on the spinal chord 12 years ago, I've become very tolerant of pain, sadly.

There ya go 2fur

Dr Gregory Hill in Canton. Looks a lot like Jim Brown. (Knew I could get a football reference in here eventually)

I will quote no more !!!

Quotes can be very helpful if there is any doubt as to what you are responding.  It is very simple (though easy to overlook) - just make sure you respond AFTER the FINAL "[/quote]".

I'm guessing there are VERY few posters who have not ended up blowing it. :D  (And I am certainly not one of the few. :P)

And if seventies is there, he'll follow up that class with a lesson on drunken, pain medication, or post-midnight grammar.
