Wait, the poll on the main pages says Mount will win the North, but we're the new Beast of the East

Like to see the Raiders stay in the North this year. One can only hope, enough of the East teams already!

As a CCIW guy, I love seeing MUC go east - except when they bring in UWW to replace you! :P

Good point!, the switch may not happen this year. Who do you like from the CCIW? +k :)

Mr. Ypsi

I LIKE IWU, but they were loaded with seniors last year, so not sure who is favored. ;)

I believe Wheaton also graduated a bundle, so I suspect NCC is the favorite, but haven't really looked at the teams yet.

Everyone seems so anxious for the season to start, but I prefer to enjoy some more summer first! :D

Frank Ryan and Larry Kehres.

Rscl70, SeventiesRaider as well as Runyr (ask him) were all Class of '70, but spent most of their MUC time in the Sixties, anyway my brother had already claimed Raider66 and I wanted to note the difference. (Besides that he was a good deal more literate than me)

I, too, am a 1970 grad (though IWU).  If I'm not mistaken, magicman (primarily a basketball poster) is also class of 1970 (as is, of course, IWU 70 - a classmate who stole the moniker I would have chosen!).  I wonder how many of us there are altogether?

Personally, I think the lack of competition hurts Mount in the East. Hard to get ready for WWW playing Hobart

oh lets not say that... MUC gets good competition up there after the 1st round... AND they had Wesley at home in the National Semifinals to help get them ready for a bigger and faster team..

It would be difficult to account for all the scenarios regarding teams moving brackets in the tournament so our poll responses are restricted to teams actually in the region.

Thus the absence of recent champion UWW! ;D

(May they stay absent. ;))

Speaking of QB's, I heard Matt Piloto has been in Alliance for 7-on-7's.

I would hope so, if he wants to compete for the starting spot this fall.

He also had a great Spring according to internal Mount sources. It will be a real battle for QB this fall, but Piloto may have a slight edge going into summer camp, but we will see! :-\

That's what I'm hearing as well.
