The raiders ready for a #3 ranked team in the country coming to Alliance for their home opener?

By October, I would hope so. :o (Kinda hard to say since they haven't reported to camp yet)

Our sports medicine doctor says the best thing to rehydrate an athlete and replace the electrolytes is pickle juice. I'd rather die

I've heard a shot of pickle juice before a game helps prevent cramping as well.

You expect that many Top 10 teams to lose?

And if Wesley loses to Capital, doesn't that move them in. I'm pretty sure Mount Union will remain #2. I said when we were on top and it's still true, ya gotta beat the best to be the best. I also don't put much more stock in in-seasons poll that Coach Kehres does, except for fan entertainment.

Letterwinners Returning/Lost on Defense:  19/9
Letterwinners Returning/Lost at Kicker:  2/0
Starters Returning/Lost on Offense:  10/1
Starters Returning/Lost on Defense:  6/5
Starters Returning/Lost at Kicker:  2/0
Returning All-WIAC:  Kyle Calhoun, Jr., P (2008-Honorable); Nate Heard, Sr., DB (2008-Honorable, 2009-Honorable); Alex Mueske, Sr., OL (2009-Second); John Nicholas, Jr., OL (2009-Honorable); Jeremy Roach, Sr., RB (2008-Second)

Finished next last in WIAC and picked for the same spot pre-season

They have to face 3 top-ten teams in Central, Mount Union, Whitewater (Sort of like playing in the OAC some years)
From a strictly statistical standpoint, they show a little weak on defense but they play some tough schools including Ohio Dominican last year as well as of course the National Champs

Heard from a reliable internal source this week that Mount will open camp with "249" players. Of that number is a another 100+ freshman class.  ::)    Good thing there are no uniform changes planned!  :)

As a Mount supporter, I believe that the last team to "take it to Mount" was the Warhawks of UWW in 2009!

May need to reinforce the East Stands for team pictures

Another reason I like black or white jerseys, just too many shades of purple

Considering the last four times ONU played Mount, they are 0-4 with an average point differential of -35, I'm thinking the better question is whether ONU is ready to step up and keep the game within 4 touchdowns.
