If you are there, how are you "outside". kids come and go for many reasons. I am sure even the Mighty Mount, gets some "outside" help from time to time. (just giving you a hard time).

I just know some kids are not sure what works for them and they end up many places after their initial college decisions. It is very easy as a very good high school player to choose the Raiders first at the D3 level, so maybe they do not have to rely on transfers like they used to earlier in thier dominance. Just a thought

Wait, wait, wait....

You're telling me a poll created for the OAC page in Post Patterns doesn't ultimately trump LK when choosing his QB?  Blasphemous!

I bet LK doesn't even know how to create a poll in here.  How can he possibly have final say?

I am pretty sure that goofball Saintsfan that used to post on here all the time has possession of the Captain Obvious Award right now.  Maybe someone knows where he's been.  Rock Stickler?  Any thoughts?

Been around, faggle!  Anyhow thanks for all the thoughts and prayers --- my brother is out of the woods and is being released from the hospital today in South Carolina.  My mother is flying with him back to Cincy where he can further recover.  And honestly, I knew all the prayers would work --- but it was bleak when I posted here, Doctors said we were within a couple hours of losing him at that point.

I was only holding onto that Captain Obvious Award... I don't know enough about the OAC to speak with any authority on much, so I just make fun of people... I definitely feel that unless LK has channeled himself into each voter as they hit the "send" button for the poll, then Raider68 is the official owner of the COA.

Don't worry, 68.... I'm sure stonk will be around soon to take the title back from you, but YOU have to point that out.

OTT to stay in third? They have finished 2nd in the conference the last two years but with Northern having what looks like their best team ever possibly- they definitely need help.

Nothing wrong with a couple transfers- if I recall the entire Capital backfield in the Pentello era was transfers: Rocky, Mulky, Charlie Smith, Lewis Howes, Derrick Alexander, their big MLB, the Smith kid just to name a few.

Ott has ONU for the 2nd game in Westerville on 9-18-10. Could be a good game, or an ONU blowout! :)

With 3 votes, I am not sure I have the arm strength to start at QB, plus no eligibility left, but then Rocky played 6 years or so! ;D ;D

Whomever hit the "edit poll" button and added Raider 68 is a genius.

Looks like the Dominic Jones to Ott thing is official.  According to the article the DB/return man has 2 years of eligibility left.

Columbus Dispatch article

I hope he turns his life around, there is more than football. But if Coach Loth and staff can help in this, that is great. I heard they got a TE transfer from Marshall too.
as a Gopher fan I wish Dominic the best of luck at Otterbein.  He was all over the field every game he played but I mostly remember his 99yd kickoff return for TD against Cal in 2006

A Pentello transferred from Ohio State (walk on there I think) to Ashland....is this Rocky's grandson?

I actually think he was scholarship, remember him signing on NBC4. He went there as a safety. I heard he wanted to play QB again like he did for his dad at Westerville South. Is he playing QB at Ashland?

FWIW

Rocco Pentello was a scholarship recruit in the buckeyes 2007 class as a safety.
