In a span of 2:13 Mount scored on 3 consecutive plays from scrimmage against Cap?. Now enter an O'LINE that is firing on all cylinders and and a running back who eats "His Wheaties" I believe RIC's highlight recording states and it's all good!

.....dominate the LOS, because as well all know, that is how you beat Mount.

BINGO!  If you want to beat MUC on the scoreboard, you must win the battle on the line of scrimmage first.  Controlling the LOS doesn't guarantee a win, but losing the LOS battle does guarantee a loss.

In terms of this weekend, I'm on the same page as B4.  The O-line and running game with Kmic is MUCH better than it was in mid-season.  In fact, they don't even resemble the same offense when it comes to running the ball.

Just for the heck of it, take a look at Kmic's stats so far this season:
88 car / 697 yds / 7.9 ypc / 13 TD's
And he's only played in less than half of their games.

Hard for me to say this, but the difference maker this week will be a freshman.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Bears, Bengals, Colts, 1972 Dolphins, it does not matter.  None of them have a 55 game win streak.

GO MOUNT!!!

moe45daddy

hscoach,
I am not so sure that the difference maker will be a freshman as it will probably be the five, six (TE), or seven (FB) big fellas that will be clearing holes for him to run through. See my KEYS TO WINNING, post #2935.

134 car/ 936 yds/ 7.0 ypc/ 18 TD's

Between RJ Meadows and Nate Kmic, we might be in for some great duals for the next couple years.  I hope they live up to the potential!

MOE,
left you a private message a few days ago, being new to the board didn't know if you got it!
I see the other philosophy for rooting for Mount though too, "hey we beat the Mount the year they won it all"  ;D yeah... i know... they havent won it yet, hehehe

OU#25

The Browns also beat the Bears  :D

70'sRaider-- I just stepped outside my house to glimps at another beautiful sunset above the lake that is my backyard. The sky has a purple hue to it and in the middle were two clouds that I swear look like  the numbers 66!           I don't know a lot about KARMA, but I think it is time to get The Jersey out!  ;):)ROLL~RAIDERS!!!

Keys to the game...Cap must sustain drives and win the turnover battle.  Cap should have been leading 14-0 in the first game with the blocked punt and the interception that was dropped, MUST capitalize!!  Defense played very well vs MU but got tired at the end.  I am not sure of the time of possession but have to think it was heavily in MU's favor the first half.

Cap is leaving Fri.

How is the weather looking for Sat?

tdubs

RP,
I'll talk to you Sunday night after the big win!

Cufan,
I really don't think weather will be a factor. At this point in the season, the weather elements should have nothing to do with the outcome. Whoever wins will deserve to win and will represent the OAC well.

cufan

outcome of the game, hell I was wondering who much whiskey I need to bring!!

Based on my experiences playing against both teams this year...Capital gets my vote, although Mount always turns it up in the playoffs.  It would also be nice to see if another OAC team could make it to the Stagg. Plus Capital didn't hold me as much as Mount, and I had a good time BS'n with the linemen from Cap.

Cufan,
I like the way you think! Evan Williams? Jack? Jim?
