Has Ott ever updated their terrible vistor's seating, or are they waiting for some one to be severely injured?

The away bleachers were replaced shortly after the home stands were redone in 2005. They aren't any bigger than the old ones, just up to code now!

Do any mount fans know who this year's class of M club Hall of famers is?  Last year there were a bunch of football players, but I haven't seen who is going in this year.  Also, are there any changes to the uniforms because of the name change?

Well, when Mount installs a second nail on the wall in the visitors locker room, I guess we can complain

But is this UWO's best team ever? I've given up on the Raiders beating the greatest ONU team of all-time.
Maybe ONU can get more that 10 points this year for the supposed "shoot-out"?  been pretty tough sledding since the christmas card victory in '05

Christmas Card Victory? Excuses are like............

ONU was the last OAC team to beat UMU since the '94 Flamin Pile. UMU hasn't lost a league road game since '91 Flamin Pile again. I guess its a good thing ONU is @ UMU this year. I am not saying we will win, but thats why they play the games. '99 was our best team and we got it handed to us twice that year. I think most UMU posters would agree.

I agree 100%.  That 99 team was stacked.  The offense was great with Franzer/Robertson/Vagedes.  That's hands down the best RB and WR ever at ONU and one of the best QB's too.  And the D was loaded too with Sweat and that other kid I can't remember just wreaking havoc in the backfield and that DB that was an absolute ball hawk.  I still have no idea how that team got beat that badly.  They were very talented.

IMHO, that group is in the discussion of best QB/RB/WR trio in OAC history.  Without racking my brain too hard, the only 3-headed monster I'd put ahead of them is Micheli/Kmic/Garcon.    And that might only be because of who the MUC guys played for and with.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

If I didn't have to end it with Smeck, Mount's '99 team with Marino, and Moore, plus Irgang was great, but still ended their season on the frozen grass in Alliance

'99 must have been a hell of a year in the OAC for offense. Otterbein had 2 All-Americans in QB Matt D'Orazio and WR Ben Streby. Also had Jeff Gibbs at TE and career rushing leader Shane Rannebarger at RB.

Granted, I was in 7th grade then...

Well that it's just SILLY that your moniker is "old otter".  Are you serious?  I have UNDERWEAR older than you young man.  Of course, I don't have a pesky wife trying to throw my "old faithfuls" away.   ;D

CWRU squeaking by Rochester 14-10 and creaming JCU 30-13 may tells us something about the Streaks chances this year

So HScoach has the spread at +42.5, it has not been that high in the Pick-ems for awhile. Maybe the JCU administration thinks no one will come to the games after removing 250 parking spaces! ;D

Were there EVER 250 parking places at John Carroll? Legal ones?

Considering that 99 ONU team also had five players that played professional ball, you'd have to say they were pretty loaded all over.  Two of those guys are still playing professionally (Robertson and Cipra).  The one thing that kept ONU curtailed was that darn guy patrolling the Mount sideline...Larry something.

I really wanted to go the Mount/JCU game, but the parking is one of the worst in the OAC, now with the magic missing 250 it is even worse! :(

It is a sad state of affairs when Raider 68 is talking about parking spaces......I mean parking spaces...they are just parking spaces!  When I was up there a few years ago, there were NO parking spaces anywhere, so I doubt if "losing" another 250 will be noticeable by Mount fans.  We all had to park out on some side street anyway.

JCU has sunk to the "almost Wilmington" level.  That is just wrong.  They need to overhaul the whole trick bag up there and get another LK disciple, or at least a competent head coach that can turn that place around.  They should be an automatic "local choice" for all those Catholic boys up there in the Greater Cleveland area.

In the meantime......Mount wins 51-10.  DAMN YOU HSCOACH!   ;D

Hmmm score... I think it was 24-7 Mount Union.  I know JC missed a two point conversion attempt. But we must have had a penalty and JC then made the extra point.

Moses was present in the stands in body paint, says my source--probably playing tomorrow.

OK, my first complaint about Ric not updating his site anymore:

JV scores have not been updated on the UMU site yet from Sunday and Monday.  Does anyone know the score from Monday's game?
