The new website will do what the AD wants done. Were JV scores kept on the old MUC site?

The page with the JV schedule has a column for "score":

I could only assume they intended to post them...
National Champions - 13: 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2012, 2015, 2017

It's "cookie cutter" website template. You can only assume PrestoSports intended on them being posted.

I think Neil was referring to the two large charter coaches in the background and the long ride home from Wisconsin.

Maybe I need to work on listening comprehension.  I heard JCU and bus ride in the same sentence and didn't parse much further. :)

By the way, has anybody noticed that UMU has received exactly one third place vote in each poll so far this season (Preseason, Week 1, and Week 2)?  I wonder who that voter is placing ahead of them.

Does anybody think that Otterbein has a chance Saturday against the best team in ONU history?

reality check

I love how some random newbie start touting this as the best team in ONU history and everyone jumps the shark.

This isn't the most talented team ONU has ever fielded.  I think anyone familiar with Robertson/Vagedes/Franzer knows that.  The reason this ONU team is worth getting excited about is the growth and development of Donley and Simmons along with a less proven Mount Union team.  That represents some hope for an upset of the Raiders.  But everyone with sense at ONU and those of us that follows them knows they have business to take care of every week in the OAC and not one of the Polar Bears is looking past Otterbein after dropping one last year to the Cardinals (no matter what the excuse).
OAC Champs: 1942 (one title ties us with Ohio State)
OAC Runners-Up: 2017, 2016, 2015, 2010, 2009, 2005, 2004, 2001, 2000, 1999, 1982, 1941 (Stupid Mount Union!)
MOL Champs: 1952, 1950

Oh, come on RC.  Robertson and Vagedas were bums and Franzer was no better than the average Wilmington QB.  This is clearly the best ONU team in history.  By a large margin.

Which is why they are a 4.5 point favorite over Ohio State this weekend even with the game being in Columbus......what?  It's not OSU?  It's Otterbein College University?....Really?.....Crap.....The spread between the best ONU team ever against a bunch of Otters should have been in the 30-40 point range.   Is it too late to retract that game from the Pick-Em's?
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

It would interesting to hear from some JCU supporters. Toph comes to mind, but he has not posted in a long while!

I've been checking the Ashland web site as well for the JV score. Unfortunately nothing posted there either. ::)

I talked to a couple of the players yesterday--they said the JV score was 45-14.  Doesn't bode well for the rest of the world's future if our Freshmen/JVs are beating a DII school by that many points.

Just waiting for all of the Ashland supporters to say:  "Those weren't our regular JV guys", "this game doesn't matter", etc. etc.

MUC/UMU has typically played well against the Ashland JV's over the years, but after each contest it is explained away....

One of my former students and an Ashland football player told me a couple years ago after losing the first JV game against Mount, Ashland stacked the second game at Ashland
