Otterbein's Dominic Jones when playing for Minnesota

http://www.bing.com/videos/watch/video/dominic-jones-crushes-ray-small/28798e0be93bb708d9f728798e0be93bb708d9f7-169856336777?q=dominic%20jones&FORM=VIRE2

How effective will he be against ONU, and where will he make the most impact, IYO?

Great question. I think he is playing safety, but I have yet to see him play, my son said he is the best player that has ever guarded him, that is all I know and he has been guarded by a lot of kids... ;)

I will for sure report back once I see him.

reality check

I wonder why Jones did not get a KR or PR in the opener.  It seems like if he is indeed the great athlete and talent that we have seen on video and read so much about, that they would look for ways to get the ball in his hands yet he only saw defensive snaps.

I have no doubt he's a stud but I'm surprised the OTT staff doesn't look for chances to get the ball in his hands.

He was hurt most of camp, just getting into football shape and they have and All-OAC return specialist back from last year, Anthony Kopreski and my kid was back on returns too.

I am sure Jones will get some touches.

I am just not sure we can match up with ONU this weekend.

Pat,

The new site looks great, well done! :)
Needs more Purple

And Pat, now you really need to change Heidelberg's stadium - Mayer Field
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

I too love the new look. I especially like the team pages with each school's crest/mascot/helmet sticker. With that said - good luck to everyone tomorrow! Stay healthy and give us some great games.
A fan of good football - wherever it may be found.

thank you coach     go oc

I agree with you... Go OC... but we are no longer "OC" and there is no way I'm going to put OU.

I'm on campus this morning for work and the tailgaters are out already. Really looking forward to todays ballgame. Otterbein comes into the game healthy and we're gonna need everyone today. We just finished out first week of classes so the student section should be big. (unless all the kids are homesick already and left, working in admissions this is the last thing I want to see!) Go Cards! And good luck to both squads

C stands for Cards. It will be a great game. Go Cards

Does JCU's losing "Streak" make it to 7 games. Can the Berg kick Bdubs at home again

All joking aside about the best ONU squad ever, I think Ohio Northern wins next week because Coach Paul will have them better prepared.  And don't be surprised to see a few, well, surprises..

How about we focus on ONU winning this week instead?  I'd prefer to worry about next week if/when we take care of business this week.
