Congratulations to Chuck Moore on his up coming induction into the Summit County Athletic Hall of Fame. Pretty good for a guy who played in the Portage County League. (Note: Mogadore High School is on the Summit County side of Cleveland Avenue which is the Portage County Line and the village is in both counties)

The good news from today?? Charles Dieuseul

The bad news: I'll be in Alliance for breakfast next Saturday :o

That should earn Charles Player of the Week.  Great job!  8-)

I think the Raider defense is coming around. Gave up 28 to UW-Osh and only one TD since, even though it was JCU and Wilma. Sometimes we forget that all of these games were road games, so hopefully being at home will help against ONU.  :)

Other than it gave them more time to work together, and get live action, it means absolutely NOTHING.  JCU and Wilmington are that bad.  Where Mount's defense is will not be determined until this coming Saturday.  Good half-full observation though R68.   ;)

I think I spend WAY TOO MUCH time on this site but I just realized you have been here for just over a year now and managed 1300+ posts.

My 3500+ suddenly don't seem so bad in over 7 years of posting (since the move to this format where we all had to re-register).

Spreads for Week 5 have been posted.

How do you think seventies and I feel? :D ;D  My wife accuses me of the same thing i.e. spending way to much time on this site. ::)  That being said, I will tell you that, for at least for me, I'm glad for our colleague Raider68 because he is one friend who has helped keep our board (MIAA) functional!! :)  Glad that we have some many guys like you three that love DIII football and share their passion and opinions!

RC,

I read Post Patterns for a 5 years decided to start posting. I must admit, I followed yours, HScoach and Seventies and wanted to participate. You have a great knowledge of D3 football and I have enjoyed it thus far, although I am still learning. +k :) My thanks to Pat Coleman for making it all possible!

And of course my Michigan friend Formerd3db! :)

One of my 20-somethings paid me the compliment of calling me a "Leet".  I had to check into it ...

It is short for "Elite".  He was praising me for my scripting skills.

But not Skilz!

Don't agree with "absolutely NOTHING", but do think that the better defense will decide it since both teams having good offenses (49 and 35 pts per game).

Capital did play really well.  Nice win for you guys, Ski.

Not having our starting QB also definitely made a difference.  Not saying it would have meant Cap wins that game, but when the back up throws for 335, you have to wonder what an All-OAC QB would have done.

Wesley has a really nice team and is to be commended, but you have to think Capital is probably 4th or 5th in the OAC.  Hope this earns to OAC some respect.
