If Seaman stands tall (and doesn't start running around like a ninny) and takes the sacks when they happen and keeps his composure then Mount's big problem is the lack of an experienced running back. My biggest fear is that Lemmon is the one who freezes and reverts to prior form. We can't pass on every down and win.

I do now see what Larry has apparently seen in Neil Seaman for years

And the "D" needs to step up big. As Larry used to joke about telling Monty, "If they don't score, we can't lose"

I'm with RC here (chit, did I just say that????)....  I'm believing this will be a wonderful game.  I like the experience Simmons has at QB and how aggressive Coach Paul will be with that athletic defense.  Still, UMU is UMU (or something like that) and you have to play REALLY REALLY well to beat Mount Union at the Stadium.

UMU last regular season road loss was in 1991. I'll take my chances in Alliance.

You'll have that too.

But I think CSIII finds a way to score

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

don't forget your picks

I can't find the dartboard

Hilarious, seventies! :D  That sounds like a great method for me/us to choose each weekend over on our MIAA board with the exception, perhaps, of Trine. ;D  I think I'll try it - can't be any worse than "the usual method"!

Over the years Coach Kehres has managed to keep his players on an all business approach to big games, but this year the emotions and enthusiam may be higher than normal. The reasons, first home game of the year, a full house against a top notch opponent and the first chance for many young starters to play in a big game. Will it have an impact, we will see how the Raiders handle it? :)

This weekend on ITH (this Sunday @ 7:30 PM ET) we will interview a key player in the weekend's slate of games, as well as welcome Springfield College Head Coach Mike DeLong live at 8:10 PM ET.  We'll be discussing SC's reasoning behind leaving the E8, his views on the "weakness" of the East and the possibility of another year with MUC in the "eastern playoff bracket" (Coach DeLong is on the championship selection committee), among other topics.

Log on to www.inthehuddLLe.com this Sunday!

For those of you who asked--I have been told by people who should know, that TJ Lattimore will not be in any more games this year for UMU.  I don't know any details.  The same people told me he will be back next fall.

Who is planning to go to the UMU-ONU game Sat?

If I recover from the Mogadore-Woodridge Game. I gotta be in Rudy Sharkey stadium by 4:30 for my son's game

I'm guessing the Cats are going to be all kinds of amped up looking for revenge after that slap in the face last year.

Slap returned. Revenge is Mogadore's 12-7

Hey Raiderguy
I will be at Margreetville at 11:30 am. I will have an extra ticket for you if you need it. I would imagine it was a long week at practice. YOU DO NOT WANT TO PISS OFF LK. I also heard the old guy from Hoover, is getting a medical redshirt so he still has 4 years of eligibility. He'll be back!!!!!!

Still missing a lot of picks.

Purple football returns to Alliance. What a long strange trip it's been.

And even stranger since I see the "good guys" are wearing all black. I'll be in black #99 along the south wall, and surely the only person in the crowd with a Heidelberg Dad hat on

BTW Congratulations to Sam Kershaw on being named a semi-finalist in the Academic Heisman award process. (Formerly known as the Draddy)
