Checking in from Linfieldville I just noticed that MUC is now UMU. I'm guessing the change is very recent is it not?

MTU is still MTU. Although we changed to a University, our NCAA moniker is still the same. (And never, never, every, say UMU) Gonna ask Pat to make UMU a curse word

The "MTU" confused Street & Smith's a couple of years ago, referring to Mount Union as the "Blue Raiders" in their pre-season college football publication (when there was a Street & Smith's).
With the rise of the Middle Tennessee University Blue Raiders ("MTU" as it appears on ESPN mobile every week) to Division I-A, I now believe that I know where their confusion originated.
UMU will always be "Dear ol' MUC" to me!
