Questions to wonder for the second half...

Just how bad is that ankle injury?

A source close to...well...on the team says its just a sprain. That's as reliable as any rumor or internet fact you might learn ;)

A UWW FG makes it 27-7.

I suspected it before the game, but it is now confirmed: NCC's defense is MUCH better then Wesley's.

Will Seaman be able to play next week?

How much passing work does Piloto get with the receivers the rest of the game?

How much of the playbook is opened up for Piloto to get used to?

Obviously the first two questions help to answer the other two...

Will we want him to?  I don't mean to be unkind, and I know it's only a quarter and a half of ball, but this looks more like Mt. Union football than anything we've seen all year.

I guess that depends on your viewpoint on the times that Mount Union has struggled on Offense this year, and which QB matches up best agains the (likely) UWW Defense.

Well, one thing I'm sure of - LK knows these guys better than we do.  Interesting that Piloto was the number 3 QB at the start of the season and now he could be looking at a Stagg Bowl start.
12-0 = 13

Bethel's really flirting with HSCoach's spread on these last two drives.

With 2 minutes to go, Wesley has thrown 5 interceptions, run for -7 yards.

Wrapping up in Alliance 34-7.

jaypeter

It's official in Dover.  Wesley can't quite make it to Salem.

Who's gonna be madder at the 2nd string D if they score?  The starters, or the D3 posters?

And those who picked Mount Union give a collective "NOOOOOOOOO!" with a big smile on their faces.

Congratulations on the great win, Mount Union!!  I'm the kind of girl who likes tradition.  And a all purple Stagg Bowl suits me just fine!!  Can't wait to see you all next week!!!  Safe trip down here but leave the snow up there please.
