Based on that list from Purple Suit, I guess Coach Kehres wasn't joking in the press conference after last year's Stagg, he is taking this 2- game streak serious.
Is the recruiting season always this active for Mount?

The fact that LK is back is enough indication that he is serious.

I haven't seen over 75 recruits yet so he is still working the phones

Click to watch I think I'll be at EVERY JV game this fall
I am not sure you will have to attend the JV games to see this kid play this year.  My favorite play was when they had the ball on about the 10 and he hadn't even broken the iline fo scrimmage and one of the lineman raised his hands signalling TD.

I saw that and laughed too but it wasn't a lineman.  It was his running back who's headed to Kent State that threw his arms up before Burke even crossed the line of scrimmage.

That kid is amazing.  I love to see an undersized kid dominate like that.  I hope he has a great college career at whatever position he wants to play.

After the highlight film its clear to me that he has the option read, and the spin move down. Impressive overall, Im interested to see if he can adjust to smarter DL and from the film he was getting chased down a few times. Will he be a speed threat in college too? Should be interesting to say the least.

The level of competition that he experienced on a week-to-week basis at Lakewood St. Ed's (including playoffs) will have prepared him well for the transition to college.  Many of his opponents will be athletes who will compete at the Division I/II level.  Another "bullet in the gun" for Coach Kehres!

While he will part of the JV team, will not be surprized if he sees some Varsity action as well! :)

Not likely with Piloto and Seaman already there.

It just depends on Larry's plans for him. Given those video clips and a lack of any real "star" RB's, his career could take a different direction. He recruits a lot of QB's for their smarts, leadership and athletic ability. Not many ever take a varsity snap. A lot don't ever lineup on the offensive side of the ball. I'm sure he'll get a chance to show his stuff like Cecil dud.

Sorry, meant not likely to see time at Varsity QB next season.

Plus, I don't think Cecil was a "dud".  ;)  For gosh sakes he was the highest drafted DIII player in recent years.

Piloto and Seaman will alternate at QB this year, IMHO. They are both good enough to be the starter, but Coach Kehres will use both of them. My question is, will Murray have a break-out season at RB or will someone else emerge? :-\

I want to see one of those 325 pound linemen at fullback. If he could pass we could run the Wildhog offense.

nothing against the kid from Florida that is going to be a student Prince, but it said he was second on the depth chart going into the season before he broke his leg.  I dont know how any of you can be happy about a second string kid from Florida coming in.  Doesnt seem that big of a deal that Hallet is recruiting from the Sunshine state.

Any other school I might agree with you, but Plant HS is a perennial playoff team from Tampa.  They were 12-3 last year (played a game on ESPN vs. a Texas HS) and were 13-1 in 2009 and won a State Championship.  They also won State Championships in 2006 and 2008.

Recent Graduates are:
James Wilder - RB/LB headed to Florida State
Phillip Ely - QB headed to Alabama
Aaron Murray - QB at Georgia
