I don't think that anyone would be implying that Gamble would be getting a handout at MUC.  If he wants to pay $25k+ for a chance to play at Mount and finish up a degree, thats his choice.  I doubt anybody on these boards would characterize LK as a social worker.  If this kid is indeed enrolled at Mount, then we all know that LK will make him earn every minute of playing time.  Some kids take a little time to mature and realize what they are wasting.  But I guess hardly anyone makes poor choices at age 18-20.

Mount Union isn't a social service agency and LK isn't a social worker. The fact is Brian Gamble seems to have some problems and a rather intensive academic setting might not be right for him,at this point. Diplomatic enough for everyone?

Hey, I was a saint at 21. The saint of cheap wine and women. LK may not be a social worker, but he has turned a lot of young boys into good men

If Gamble does what is expected then Coach Kehres will give him his opportunity, but no promises!

Sounds like what Lance Leipold did with Booker Stanley last year at UWW. . . make him prove himself in the classroom and off season workouts, FIRST, before making him part of the team.  He did that and then was welcomed on the team and contributed.

Brian Gamble and my son played together at Massillon and the kid is the real deal just has problems going to class. I'm pretty sure he has 2 years of eligabilty left. Played 1 year at Illinoi and one year at Ashland. He has been working at the boys club in Massillon for a while now. I have been told by some players at Ashland that he is going back there for one year and enter the draft. His old Massillon coach Tom Stacy is back coaching at Ashland.

Kurt Rocco is on tonight. Doing himself proud, Gladiators  trying to clinch play-offs with a win. Game is on NFL network. halftime score 39-28, Cleveland, I think...

Camp starts August 17 at MU

Well, it's X number of days before the first game and we start late so the game start date is late.

Congrats to the USA players and Nate Kmic for representing the USA. Another victory by the USA Women's soccer team on Sunday would be great as well! :)
