Quick question about Kickoff.  When you register and are sent a password, will that password not work until Kickoff is released later in the month?  This is my first year ordering, but know that others have had password issues in the past.  Thanks!

That's right -- there's nothing to log into at the moment while we're building it.

I forget who said that LK will be calling the plays this year, but here's an article from the Rep confirming that:

The biggest question in my mind is what  game draws my attention on 9/3?  Berg v Alma, The Pile at Wooster, Northern v NC Weslyan, or the battle of coaches playing against the school they played for: JCU v Case Western. Considering the Case/JCU and BDuds at Woo are  evening affairs, a road trip doubleheader maybe in order. Sorry Cards fans, a trip to DC is not in my plans.

My darkhorse pick this year? The fighting fish of Muskingum make it back to 500 this year. It could happen ;)

Does that mean you'll end your ticket boycott? Terry and I could use some company on the south wall. We could have 9 home games this year. And ONU, Berg and Cap are worth the road trip, hopefully.

You mean you actually read through what seventies writes?  That's your fault.

Ticket boycott is for real.  Skunk and I are "conferencing" this weekend (playing in a golf tournament where the primary measurement is how much you can drink), so we will probably look at calendars and determine when/where we will catch our Mount fix.

Jr. has had a good first week & a half of two-a-days, so whether he is playing primarily on Friday nights vs. Saturday mornings has yet to be determined.  My best guess is he will do some of both, unless something drastic happens (injuries of upper classman or Jr. channels Barry Sanders).

RC - how goes practice?  Are you running that offensive show out there?  Any studs that will play at the next level?  Mount doesn't have many AZ players (if any), so don't hesitate to send one their way.   ;)

I will not miss the opener for any reason. Capital trip probably good for some German food. Wilmington under the lights, sorry that's my night to troll for biker chicks.  ;D  Oh, and repent Sunday morning Kehresma

It's been great going out to practice every day and seeing the temp hovering at 110.  It really gets you in the football spirit.  Long story short, I am coaching the offensive and defensive lines, not because the HC didn't like what I accomplished but because he gave up play-calling duties on both sides of the ball last year to manage the game and says he felt disconnected.  It ticks me off but I'm making the best of it.  We switched to the fourth offense in four years this off-season which I am not a fan of at all.  These seniors have to wonder what our direction is.   I think the veer fits our line and our skill guys but we're back in the spread.  We're building the program and have some college level (even D-I) talent but it's tough to tell as many of our students (schoolwide) struggle mightily academically.  We're trying to change that.  I preach D-III as a great educational opportunity either at an OAC school (not Mount of course) or one of the SCIAC schools I have been working with for the Kickoff publication over the last three years.

Final Day of Two-a-Days done down here in FLA.  Not too bad this year.  Got torrential Rains M-W so really only had two full days outside in 90 degree heat and 100% Humidity.

With Kyle and Cecil at Jacksonville and Pierre at Indi, I may have to order the NFL package from Time-Warner.
