I don't think they're going to lose at all but if they lost two games in the OAC I still think they'd have a shot at making the playoffs.  With the committee having the ability to select a team based on previous championship  performance they'd be a solid selection and I'd have to think that come hell or high water the committee is going to find a way to have Mount Union in the playoffs.

It is an interesting question, BUT, the Raiders record in the OAC for the last 19 years is 169-2. It may be a more relevant question a few years from now. :)

If you add the three playoff wins against OAC opponents 172-2. Both losses were at home. We lost to MUC six times in four years.

Found out that the frosh will be playing JC again on Monday evening at 7 at MU stadium. The last meeting ended with MU ahead but called on account of the weather. I have to say that JC looked as good as I've seen them in a few years.

JC?

Jack Carroll as his friends call him. Clearly talking about their JV's cause last year's years varsity was embarrassing

What is this of which you speak???  Mount losing TWO OAC games in the same year???   ???

If that happens, there is no reason to worry about whether they make the play-offs or not.  Everyone will be consumed with watching pigs fly, a frozen hell, and Emma17 proclaiming "see....I TOLD you they wouldn't be the same without a NFL-type receiver!"   ;D ;D ;D 8-)

Yeah, that wasn't a great question.  It would be a better question if asked about a team that plays in a conference tough enough to not allow the same team to win 19 consecutive championships.    :P

SaintsFAN, Pat and all:

Wow, I remember that play - I was there!  After that SaintsFAN, you actually did turn out "all right" today!  :)  That photo still makes me cringe today - I can still feel the "ouch"!!  The score didn't help you much either.  But, that is the way if was for that day I guess.  I had a few like that too "back in my time" (although I think I gave a few out as well). ;D

As always, I read it for the article(s), not the picture(s)!  ;D

Enjoyed it. Copied and sent the article to one who, as the author attests,  is probably too young to understand it, while there's still time...
