He added the comment about Hiram vs. The Berg.  He left it inside the quote however which makes it confusing.

Lots of posters struggle with the quotes although I don't understand why.

I especially like the fact that in the original quote by raiderpa, that ONU is not listed as one of the OAC's best although they have posted 53 wins since 1999 which puts both ONU and JCU tied for second with 53 wins to only Mount (a very, very distant second to Mount) with 87 wins.

Mount Union has been televising their games on WIVM Chnl 52 in Canton.  They are on a delay and have been showing at either 8PM or 11PM on Saturday and 8PM Sunday.  I don't know if you can get WIVM on Satellite.

It is not on satellite. If it were live then the feed would be on satellite but taped delayed games are not.  It is not 100% it is going to be televised, that will be decided this afternoon, but it is probably likely it will be.

I'm not sure I understand that, but it makes me happy that I have cable.

If the game were live the feed would need to be beamed to a satellite to get to the station to then be broadcast, as in what they did at La Crosse in 1996.

Since it is taped delay, the game is taped at the stadium and the tape will be at the station that evening.  There is no need to use a satellite and thus put a game film out there for next week's potential opponent to get since they would not see this one to prepare.  It would just be giving them an added game.  The downside is fans out of viewing range of the game will not be able to see it.

Does Joe Tait still do the TV play by play for Mount Union football?  I would play money for a tape of the Cap-MUC game if Tait did the play-by-play.

He does yes, when he does not have a conflict with the Cavs.  He did have a conflict Saturday and did not do the MTU-CAP game.

I'm really looking forward to this weekend's rematch and am glad to hear that the new Rowan coach is working on building a program rather than just bringing in transfers to try to win games.  One of the most ignorant comments that I remember Keeler making during the years of multiple losses was about how unfair it was that LK got to work with his players for four years.

I am glad that the new coach has a different atitude about the fairness of such a system and is looking to the advantages of having a real team.

Just checked out the Keeler website.  That was the first time I'd seen a photo of him when he wasn't wearing sunglasses.
