RC-- Interesting odd note. I will still cling to my thoughts on turnovers and how significant the yhave been in the past, and will be in the very near future. I am confident the weather will play a big part in  this. Thanks also for your run down on the Profs.   I believe another poster came on here outa nowhere with a brief comment how Rowan will try to strip the ball and everyone just kinda blew him off.  The turnover numbers are the ones that seperate themselves of all the stats, again, my opinion    we'll see

reality check

KC Keeler's shirt reads "Fighting Blue Hens" and "Delaware".  Wow.  Mind-boggling.   ;)

The "stripping the ball" comment was actually a hit and run by someone from Linfield I believe.  They were commenting on Whitewater's affinity for ripping the ball loose at the end of plays.  You guys can worry about that in a week maybe.  Rowan did not appear to go for the strip in last week's game.  I completley agree with the importance of winning the TO battle.  The turnover batter cost Mount already once this year.  Ask Capital how important turnovers are.  OTT beat them because of it and a couple of their games were only close because they gave it a away a few times more than they should have.

RC-- Thanks for the correction ;D    I remember posting last Sat. about a TO opp that needed to rear up or we were going to be in serious trouble, and it did! I guess the emphisis I put on it now is in trying to find some stat, any stats, that really told a larger story, yet no one had elaborated much on to this point.

Found a great article written at the end of Nate Kmic's high school career:

THE DELTA DART

:o
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

I loved the quote at the end of the Kmic article:

"But I think my heart makes up for my lack of size."

A great quote by a great, young football player.  Looking forward to the great things Nate Kmic is bound to do for this Mount Union football program.
The impossible CAN happen and eventually it WILL happen.

I would like to say that Kmic for Mount is the real deal.  I think that he is going to terrorize defenses for the next 3 years.  I got my chance to watch him in person this past weekend.  He seems to see the hole very well, but also for a little guy he just bounces off of people.  I would also like to wish Mount good luck this weekend.  They are a team with a lot of class.  I got the chance to play against Mount two times this year.  Aside from the Ohio Northern game I was involved in it was the most exciting.  I would rate Mounts d-line with the best in divsion 3 or at least in the OAC aside from my teammates.

I can't think of a better way to spend my 2000th post.

Go Profs!
