Based on todays scores the BW game looms even larger.  Glad its at Mt.

While there were some close OAC games today, I do not read too much into the comparison that now B-W is a top offensive power based upon one week. Look at the season overall. but that said the Raider Offense needs to get in sync for the whole game. Coach Kehres does not appreciate a fumble inside the 10 yard line and J. Murray did not play another down. I do not know if he is injured and hope that J. Collins will be fine.

Anyone heard any details on his injury? Focus has to be on Otterbein coming up! :)

Murray got up limping from the pile on that fumble and was moving gingerly going in and out of the locker room at half.

Searching for a QB that can throw a pass within 2 yards of intended receiver.  That was an ugly first half.

Thanks for comments, Coach.  Listening to you guys I wondered what was going on, if Capital's D was that good or what.  :o

27-7 final.  When was the last time MUC threw for under 100 yds and -0- TD's in a game?!
Crazy.  Can't wait to hear from people who were there.

Never have been nor will I ever be a fan of a 2 QB system. IMHO it does not give the offense continuity.

But we saw what happened in the Stagg last year when we only had one QB ready to play.  I understand why LK is doing this -- he doesn't focus on winning games; he focuses on winning championships.

Pick-Em results have been posted.  In what was a fairly wacky day, Chess4me went 12/15 to pull himself into a first-place tie.

Becoming very crowded at the top.

I was referring to Mt's score and their poor performance in the first half.

I won't second guess Larry when it comes to football, but perhaps letting guys spend the night in Columbus before the game looks like a real bad idea.

;)  Yeah, maybe they should stick to the bus ride and sandwich.

Although I will give some props to the Cap's D-line ... they were shooting today.

Yeah.  That's why the game was closer than it was supposed to be.  Give me a break!  Can't another team ever get any credit for showing up against Mount Union?  Why does it have to be "staying in Columbus overnight" or "sloppy field conditions" or "a plague of toads" or whatever other sign of the apocalypse that causes a <40 point margin of victory?

Mount beats Osh-Kosh by 24.

Whitewater beats Osh-Kosh by 3.

Therefore Mount is obviously better than Whitewater by three scores.

(Now I sound like some of our more opinionated Mount posters.)

;D This is fun.

I admire the way Cap played Mt. today. Those stops in the red zone and the containment of our running game, particularly of Murray, was notable. After Murray's fumble he limped as he left the field, and I assumed that was why we didn't see him after that. Jr reportedly has a fairly typical foot issue, so here's hoping the great training staff and some rest gets him back  next game. With the exception of Simon, our offense couldn't get it done today.  Defense, once again, made it happen.
