I never thought I would type this but: I don't think Mount gets back to Stagg this year. As good as the defense is - the offense leaves me worried. Inconsistent play and too many mistakes. For the first time in the last 17 years I am not excited about the playoffs.

I'm not sure if it was you or not but didn't someone say that if there was any year for them not to make the stagg bowl, it was last year??? I will say this though, if Matt goes down, then mounts in BIG TROUBLE because they don't have an athlete like Cecil shorts to step in

Defense does win championships - but I like it when the Offense gives them a 40 point cushion!  I know that last year I was concerned they would not make the Stagg (and I was not alone in that opinion) and I said that with all they had coming back they would win this one and the next one. But I have been unimpressed with what Mount has shown on O the past couple weeks, and against ONU. I am holding out hope that once everyone is healthy things will look better. I don't remember who said it but it was a reference to Piloto staying healthy since Mount doesn't have a Cecil...I don't know Burke looked pretty good. Kid can move, not that I want to put it on a Frosh to bring #11 - just saying.

Amost forgot: Big shout out to LAX! Thanks for keeping Coppage under 500 yards!! While UWW getting beat would make sure Kmics record remains...I think UWW has earned the right to be "penciled" into the Stagg (just like some of us do for Mount every year!).

For those that listened to us today, how bad was the PA announcer?

Once you shut the window, it wasn't too bad. 

I'm hoping the announcer gave the OSU score backward for dramatic effect.

CONGRATULATIONS to Chess4Me in winning the 2011 OAC Pick-Em contest.

With rscl70's 14 points leading all players for the last week, Chess4Me just had enough of a lead to fight off all pursuers.

The 2011 OAC Playoff Pick-Em Contest will start next week, with spreads coming out on Monday night.

Didnt see any stats for Jack Laforce. Was that injury last week a season ender? Any updates on Neal Seaman?  Getting nervous over here! How did the back up QB Burke look in clean up?  Shoulda drove to Musky instead of watching the Buckeyes!

H.S.Coach...It was difficult to enjoy the broadcast with the carnival barker in the background. All he did all day was expound upon the obvious. What an irritation to the people in the stands trying to enjoy the game. Congratulations to BW and Heidelberg for 8-2 seasons,and also to Muskingum for being much more competitive this year and building for a good year next year with all those sophomores. I  hope BW makes the playoffs,they deserve a shot and not just because of the Mount game. How about the job Mike Hallett has done at Heidelberg?

Just dont see a 2 loss team making the playoffs although the losses were only 8 points with less then 2 minutes of football. Very proud of all of our team especially the senoirs. We had a great season just didnt get it done against Capital. You will all be better men, husbands and fathers because you played this game. Best of luck in all that you do I have enjoyed watching you all play. Hopefully I get to watch some more when the bracket comes out.

Can't understand anyone who see's this years teams as any way not better than last years

I think for me it is that I see a solid defense and a good offense but the offense is not consistent. It has been discussed on here with a few Mount teams before but I don't see a "game breaker" on offense. Mount reminds me of the team with Bruney and Burgardt...it was solid but didn't have that game changer like Moore, Pugh the teams after it with Kmic and Garcon. This team is more rounded than last year but Cecil gave a comfort factor - you knew he could break it at any moment and take over the game. Again this is all IMHO. Regardless I will still shout from the rooftops: Roll Raiders!! 11 in 11!!
