what is with the NCAA waiting to name playoff sites until Sunday.  I know we Mounties are a very spoiled bunch, but what was the problem with higher seeds hosting.  That seems to make the most sense and is neatly packaged.  Next thing you know we will be re-bracketing after each round.

..next thing you know you will win 10 championships in 13 years...yeh you are a spoiled bunch, quit complaining   ;)

They say to never change a winning gameplan, so I would love to see Seaman right back in there as soon as possible. Thing is, he would still be in there mostly because of the running threat. One good shot on the knee and there it all goes. Piloto threw some really good fastballs today. His prettiest pass was called back on a penalty, so it doesnt count. It was into the wind even. If Piloto improved his ball handling/slight of hand skills a little, then I would overlook his lack of running skills and throw all my support his way. So, we still need Burke in there also to keep the defense guessing. Burke ran well again today, which bodes well for the playoffs. He is a real problem on the option plays. Defenses cant ignor him, the other backs benefit from it too. If the weather takes us out of the passing game, I foresee Burke becomming more involved in the offense. With Skilliter running with such mal intent and Murray carving them up, the offense becomes just that much more of a headache for defensive coaches. Try protecting the Qb option the draw play, the stretch play, and the counter play all at the same time! The box is gonna get mighty crowded...and the pass is gonna get easier and easier. I even see Skilliter in the old Dave Hassey roll as the release valve back sneaking out of the backfield for the short pass/ safe pass....keep the drive going...type of roll. Should be fun the next couple of weeks! ;)

I might be in the minority, but I wouldn't let Burke throw a single pass in a playoff game until it's absolutely needed.  No reason to let future opponents know that he's actually a QB and not a TB wearing #10.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Watching the replay: often unsung, Cam West #4 sure had a great game. Perhaps the outcome was not in doubt but he brought play-off energy throughout and made several key stops.

Can anyone say "Micheli?" :o

The "word" is that Seaman will probably not play the rest of this year, and Collins' injury is a bit more serious than originally thought.  He will be iffy for a while yet.

Good first week for the Raiders, now on to face Centre, which certainly put on a offensive display this week.

For those who don't follow these things, Piloto lead the OAC in Passing Efficiency and 5th in the Nation

Nice article in the Repository, quoting a gracious Borsellino, BU's star halfback,  who was denied the endzone yesterday. Asked what makes MU's defense he is quoted as saying , "Speed, man, it kills..."

My favorite example yesterday, Isaiah Scott, blocked off balance early in one play, and significantly set back by that, he nevertheless eventually catches and takes out the ball carrier after a significant gain.

I wonder if we can finally stop the talk that the ncaa is "changing things up" this postseason. Most people that i talked to said that if a road team wins in round 1 then that team would be the home team in round 2, but st john fisher has to go to del val and monmouth has to go to st thomas!!!

I looked at the brackets on the NCAA site and they show next weeks game in Alliance as we might expect. So far so good. I did notice that Linfield has to travel to Wesly next week. WOW! What a trip. >:(

I don't think those people have any idea, then. They wouldn't do that -- the backlash would be severe.

Not to discount the effort by Centre, but I wouldn't give that too much credence. My Tigers may be the worst defensive team to ever appear in the playoffs; check out the results of their last four regular season games.  :-[

Who are "most people"?  If not NCAA Insiders, I doubt their information was correct.
National Champions - 13: 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2012, 2015, 2017

HSCT.....I was aware of that, but trying to give the utmost respect to Mount's upcoming opponent.  I would guess that Centre might be saying things like........"WHAT THE".........."NO WAY"........"OUCH!".  Mount should be a solid 20 point favorite I would guess.

"Most People" = the drunken conspiracy theorist that still thinks the moon landing was staged.   ;)

It was easy to figure out the seeds, and it appears the NCAA committee is holding to them.
