HSCT.....I was aware of that, but trying to give the utmost respect to Mount's upcoming opponent.  I would guess that Centre might be saying things like........"WHAT THE".........."NO WAY"........"OUCH!".  Mount should be a solid 20 point favorite I would guess.

"Most People" = the drunken conspiracy theorist that still thinks the moon landing was staged.   ;)

It was easy to figure out the seeds, and it appears the NCAA committee is holding to them.

skunks_,

The Raiders should do well against Centre, but as an opponent I know very little about them. I respect any team in the playoffs, but some teams are just superior. If their defense gives up that many points in the last four games, it will be a long afternoon for them on Saturday! :)

I think the poster was referring to the defense of Hampden-Sydney, Centre's first round opponent.

Who is this team called Centre and are they from Canada or the UK?    ;)  ???

bleedpurple,

Centre gave up 21 pts  per game for their last four games and 41 against H-S. Still not great for them either! :)

Nah: they're from Kentucky, the grammar capital of America.

Monies on the Raidre's

BTW-If you taped the game, replay the 52 yard run by the Benedictine back and watch UMU #10 Isaiah Scott who missed the initial tackle, got knocked to the ground, but got up and ran 52 yards to push the runner out of bounds.
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

No question about that! Believe me, just clarifying and not implying anything. I believe Centre is a step up from Benedictine, but I expect the score to be the same (maybe worse).  See you at the Stagg.

That's what national power Harvard said back in 1921 when Centre came to their stadium - and the "Ivies" were suprised that time. ;) ;D  Probably, however, you are right in that your Mount will prevail. :)

Thanks, Seventies, for citing chapter and verse (After watching the game once live and twice on DVR, I didn't want to bother looking it up):

(page prior) "...My favorite example yesterday, Isaiah Scott, blocked off balance early in one play, and significantly set back by that, he nevertheless eventually catches and takes out the ball carrier after a significant gain."

See you at the Stagg.

Hey, Purp (and I don't mean that in a criminal justice type way, United Kingdom spelling)

Glad you chimed in here .  I visited the Wacki site for the first time  this morning, looking for some WWWWWWWWWWWWWW post-game banter and all I could find was a lot of angst about attendance in competition with Wisconsin's opening of deer hunting season-- what a hoot!  I recognized names of several occasional posters from your side of the board and was going to crack wise, but I didn't want to get dinged by some who might take this stuff (especially their deer hunting) seriously.

Hope to see you in Salem.  Especially if the Warhawks are molting this year.  ;D

OAC

Nominee for most over-the-top use of 'great'. 8-)

It was against a team that lost to 0-for-the-millenium-in-CCIW-play North Park! :P  It was freakin' Benedictine, not UWW! ;D

[Just funnin' ya, Bein - I enjoy your posts.]

After the season we had any win is great. Just wish you guys could have kept their back to under 175 all purpose yards so my kid could have moved up a spot. LOL.  :P

The OAC is a strong conference. BU is, about like us or Marietta.
