Defense. Any question.

Piloto was warming up and had his helmet on next Larry most of the 2nd half. Seaman, street clothes

Did I think we could win this with a freshman QB the whole 2nd half?

What an amazing performance by the Mount D!  I will say however, I am glad we didn't see Belton the whole game.  He was much stronger as a passer.  C.J. Gumm is a frickin' BEAST.  Great linebacker....

Murray has shown he is healthy, and he was really finishing runs today.  HOPEFULLY, Pilato is able to go next week.  He was "on" during the brief time he played.

Congrats to Wabash for a great season.

Piloto seemed to be favoring his ribs (left side). He tried warming up numerous times but could not step forward and let it go. He was in obvious pain. Since Seaman came out in street clothes in the 2nd half, you have to think his season is over. Hopefully Matt's ok for next week but I'm sure Burke will get a number of reps with the 1st team this week.

Sounds like Coppage is nearing Nate's record. Boo to that!

congrats to wabash a hard fought game.   Mt. D was dominant but wabash D line was hugh.  LK played to win and ran the clock the 2nd half.  Wabash had some costly turn overs that really hurt their offensive game plan.  Freshman QB did a good job of not making any mistakes and should have a promising future for the Raiders.  Piloto was ready but Mt.'s D was controlling the Wabash O fairly well.   Once again most of the calls went against Mt.   I do not believe Wabash had any major penalties today, maybe one.

Let me guess. Were those refs from the Heartland Conference. Mount played sloppy in the first half and got a lot of penalties but those refs missed a hell of a game

Just because Wabash only had one penalty didn't mean the calls were against Mt. Union. They were from the Centennial Conference, I believe.

Smed-Read carefully,I said Mount played sloppy and deserved the penalties, but the refs were lost half the time and threw some VERY late flags. Although the late pass interference call was on a totally uncatchable ball

For the second week in a row, the officials looked like they really couldn't keep up with the level of play.  I just don't think they even know what they are looking at half the time.  Two tough, physical teams....let them PLAY!

Major props to #10 on defense.........that kid was bring the wood, defensing passes, getting penalties  8-)......he certainly was active.  The hit he put on Chamblee was massive for a kid that weighs a buck fiddy.

Pilotos ribs must be broken. If they were just bruised then the medical staff would have numbed him up and taped the crap out of em. Sorry to see Seaman hurt again. He wasnt 100%. You could tell by the way he moved and tried to throw. LK shut down the offense and tried to protect the last QB he had ready. Cant blame him...they had the lead...and the defense was playing lights out. LK is gonna have to coach his kiester off this week. Tweaking the offense to suit Burkes stregnths is possible, but its only a week of practice. I bet Piloto stills plays, but not unless/until he HAS to.

Nice turn out from the Wabash faithful! They pulled for their team the whole way. Hope you enjoyed the day. The weather was pretty good for December football.

BRING ON WESLEY. LOVE THEM RAIDERS

Wasn't replying from you originally. Added the conference after I saw your post.

As stated Mount's D was awesome today...WOW!! I do wonder about Wabash's time management especially in the second half...you're down by 20 and you still use most, if not all the clock...although I'm not complaining.

WABASH  D  outstanding...their offense was ineffective against Mount superior speed....Gum is a beast  good game I thought Murray's run out of the endzone to the fifty was the play of the game
