Back home in Indiana...pretty good game, right?  Oh, what could have been if Wabash could have finished off a couple of those red zone chances.  Doff of the cap to Mount Union and that defense which made for extremely tough sledding all afternoon for the LGs.

Special thanks to HSCoach, skunk and his sidekick, theaprof, mtfan, and everybody else that I'm forgetting at the moment for getting out last night.  It was fun to get to put some faces to names and talk some football.  Hopefully we can do it again next December.

Congrats to the Purple Raiders and best of luck next week against Wesley!

Wally!  Glad you guys made it home safe.  it was great shooting the D-III crapola with you guys last night, and we will definitely have to do it again.

Congratulations to the Purple Raiders on their win. Now get healthy, will ya!  ;)

Bleed...you guys try to hang with UST......Mount will have open try-outs this week to find a new QB...and erect a statue honoring the Stagg Bowl and pray every hour to try to get through their tough predicament.

Football god willing..and the crick don't rise......just maybe we will see you in two weeks.

Just got back from Alliance..... congrats Mt Union!  Your fast defense is as advertised.  Nicely done.  Now this LG fan is going to bed.   :P

Please Mt. Union, kick some major you know what this weekend. Those Wesley are the most obnoxious I have ever seen.

Wally,

Was great to BS with you and some other LG fans Friday night.  Your defense is good enough to compete at the highest levels.  Especially your front 7.  After seeing the number of young your started yesterday I have no doubt we'll be seeing you guys again in the near future.  A little stronger O-line and a quicker RB and you'd be right there.

Overall I hope you enjoyed your trip, but Id be lying if I didn't admit that I'm glad the trip home wasn't better.  ;)

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

It is a little ironic that the potential running back was on the field yesterday....only problem he was wearing purple and putting a major hurt on his Wabash neighbors. Nick Driskell as I recall was a Mr. Indiana running back. He saw the light or was it the purple and ended up in Alliance. His home town........Wabash, Indiana. Thanks guys! ;D
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

I was impressed with the turnout from the Wabash faithful. How many times have you looked over to the visiting cheerleaders and saw them leading cheers to practicaly nobody? Not yesterday! Very enthusiastic, loyal bunch. Looks like some experiend tailgaters too ;) I agree that Wabash is probably going to be a perennial playoff participant as long as ER is coaching there. When you consider school size (under 900) thats pretty impressive.

If Pilotos injury is a hip pointer indeed, then he will play most of the game next week. His extra padding will not affect his throwing, or his running game. Did I see LK let Burke throw for a first down? Nice pass too!

One gripe though, how many times have you seen Mounts defenders with blanket coverage, but their backs to the play and give up a catch for a first down? Its gonna cost us big time soon I fear.

So ESPN wants to cover the next game and call the starting time too! I thought LK doesnt like live broadcasts of his playoff games. Interesting! As long as its before dark, it doesnt really matter. Just dont send your not ready for prime time announce team ESPN. ;D  Lets have a front page survey of who you would like to see in the broadcast booth on the D3 front page, and make ESPN comply with our wishes. ;D Nominations?

How about Joe Tait?    I hope Pam Ward retired.

How about Pat. Coleman.

Why they don't just sign him on a per-game basis is baffling.

Kudos to smedindy for going perfect this week in the OAC Pick-Ems.

rams1102 currently has a slim lead over the pack with two weeks to go.

Well, I'd like to thank the academy...

Seriously, I'd have rather lost the pick 'em and have Wabash win the game Saturday, but there is some solace.

Playing in three pick 'ems this year (OAC, NCAC and MIAC (thanks to my time in MN)) I often wonder on how teams are perceived in different quarters. Very interesting stuff!
