Greatest game ever for Mount Union to overcome 4 fumbles losing 3 and 2 interceptions, 1 for TD.  I'm not sure UMHB will recover from this loss.

Desert raider...UMU scored a TD with a run up the middle with 5 seconds left.  Then got a pick-6 on the final play to end the game.

They'll recover from it.  Maybe not next year as they had a lot of seniors, but they'll manage to overcome it.  They've had some real tough losses in the playoffs and have built a strong program in just 15 years.  I'm sure Mt. Will see them again down the road.

I had a comedy of errors that resulted in missing the entire 4th quarter. NCAA Livestats sucked as they had no field or indicator to show who had the ball (I prefer sidearm stats anyday). I was listening on the phone but it died - my daughter took the charger to a friends house for a sleepover. And to finish it all off - I could not get the audio/video to load. It is official: God hates me. Congrats to the Raiders. How in the HE** Mount gets a victory after giving up all those turnovers and playing so sloppy for 3.5 quarters I will never know. But I think today puts Mount right next the all-time great Mount teams.

Just an unbelievable win!! In my 45 years of watching Mount football I don't think I've ever experienced that kind of atmosphere...have to go back on oxygen now. One last thing...MHB fans will have, for a long time, the picture in their heads of Simon scoring with less than 10 seconds left....I know I will, forever!!

So sorry to leave you in the dark, desert raider.     I wasn't taking my eyes off the ball the whole second half, so didn't check the boards (to say the least ) . It'll be a great re-play, but nothing like being here.

Great game, MHB! Great defense, tangling up our pass game, and stymieing Burke more than we're accustomed to.  Great rushing, esp first half, some strategic, timely and on target pass plays by Mary Harden Baylor as well--not to mention forced turn- overs. Oh my Lord! Well done, both teams.  Because of the Friday Stagg, I have to miss next week, but as others have mentioned, I believe we saw the national championship game today. 

Appreciated the fans getting loud --louder than i've ever experienced it. Great crowd.

New up-n-comer receiver, Luke----, (#86 ) had one of the possession-saving receptions. Watch for him to step up in the depth chart next season, with Jack Nicholls, who will be a senior WR next year, I believe, and Wilkinson (sp?). Plus...?

Here's to finally having a different color in the Stagg Bowl...instead of all purple and white (but still mostly black), it'll be purple and gray.  It's so nice to have such a big change!

Glad I was there, Mt. was given up for dead, but came back to life and won a game that will go done in Mt. lore for sometime.   WOW!   Oh, and we no longer have a losing record against UMHB.

Curious why there was no extra pt attempt on the final TD.  I know nothing could have happened to change the outcome of the game, but I thought you still had to attempt one after a score?  Or did I miss an attempt in the rush to get to the dinner table?  Didn't see one in the play-by-play.

Mount Union defense was superior in second half...they kept covering _or trying to cover up Offense mistakes..
THe D picked it up and made stops inthe third and fourth qtr that kept Raiders in it.

If you have five turnovers and still win that says bunches about the character of a team.

Mary H Baylor was incredibly talented, their D tackles were monsters and great players, and the qb was as advertised. 

THey did not kick the pat because everyone came onto the field and the players started lining up and shaking hands and the  refs just gave up and left the field. 

Mount caught them totally asleep on the up the middle run with 5 seconds left,,,they just watched Simon go into the end zone untouched.  in the post game, MHB coach said they had a call to pressure from the ends and bring blitz from outside in and a guy who was to loop to middle did not loop and nobody was home. LK said he was keeping in middle for FG attempt in final seconds.

My nephew DVR'd this for me....in Ann Arbor. I checked ESPN site and see the replay option - but Mount isn't there (yet?). I swear I am driving to Ann Arbor tonite if the replay option  isn't available. Just show me the last 8 minutes....heck I would take the last 10 seconds!
