ok thanks 70's

Instant replay will be used on Saturday . . . .interesting

I doubt most of the crews we saw during the playoffs could get it right the second time. If there is a down side to DIII,  IMHO, it's officiating, although I have very few gripes with the OAC officals.

In college football aren't replays done independentof the officials on the field, similar to how the NFL did it the first go round with instant replay?

70's    interesting indeed......   and the fact that the most important call, IMO pass interference   is not reviewable ???

I don't know if Pass Interference is reviewable in any league. Don't they normally shy away from reviewing those "judgement" type calls?

I would love to come up, but I think my wife would divorce me. I will be loading up the U-Haul Truck Saturday and moving to my temporary home until my new house is complete. Current house sold too quickly and we have to be out by the 21st and my wife decided to ask all her friends to help us move on Saturday instead of Sunday. Trying to determine if I can take a break from moving at 1:00 or try to Record the game and watch it after the move...

I think it is funny how some are trying to downplay LK and the Raider's "tradition" and history over the last 15 years.  I would agree with them that tradition and history don't amount to a hill of beans if the team in question went 6-5 for the year.  I would also agree with them, indeed this is 2005, and it is the 2005 UWW team and 2005 MUC team that will be facing off on Saturday.  Glad we at least in agreement on which year we are in.

With that said, I think tradition, history, pride, etc., are pretty significant factors in a game like Saturday's.  I don't profess to know as much about football as Ric or Seventiesraiders, but in a game where statistically speaking, both teams are pretty comparable, the history of MUC is a rather significant rallying cry.

A program's tradition makes a player commit himself not only to the man next to him, but to the names of those players who went before him.

Tradition pushes a team not to be better than, but  to honor their past.

Tradition carries a team during the ebbs and flows of a game that aren't going particularly well for them.

Tradition makes players huddle up before kickoff and feel as though every team that went to the Stagg Bowl is huddled up with them.

Tradition gives a team confidence that they can win, because they have done so so many times before.

May be considered by some as something akin to voodu, but this is a game of advantages, and in this regard, I give it to MUC

All the best to both teams, and safe travels to everyone going.

Go Raiders.

Im going to the game on Saturday and I usually listen to the games on 91.1FM while at the game.  Is there a station (and what frequency) can i listen to the game while being in Salem?  I pretty sure i can not pick up Matt Mowery and 91.1FM.

GO RAIDERS!!!

80 miles each way (180 minutes minimum since I have to drive on 54 to get to 75).
Game from 1-4 (180 minutes minimum)

Total 6 hours.

Does not fit into the rental scheme of U-Haul. :(

After looking at that picture on the front page, a flight to Orlando would make more sense. Wonder if Kevin and I could peddle our bus tickets and seats? Got to be at least two people as silly as us in the Alliance area.

Seriously, better put my Cardhardt's and his snow pants back in the bag. :P
