Berg scores 56 vs Wilmington... in the first half! Up 56-6 at halftime.

So I guess my Wilmington +15.5 in the OAC pick-ems isn't looking too good so far?      :)

Actually +45.5, but most players were smarter than I was!
Never underestimate the stimulation of eccentricity.

Dr. Acula

Etta uses a half back pass to fuel an opening TD drive. They've already surpassed Musky's total yardage for the game.  Raiders answer immediately with a 29 yd TD pass and force a quick 3 and out. 7-7.

Dr. Acula

4 straight TDs. 35-7 now. Burke has been good in the first half and Woods has had some blocking in front of him and responded with some nice runs. D has been predictably good after that trickeration on the opening drive.

I'm betting there are some Linfield folks there with they're jaws hanging open

49-7 at half. Burke is 19-25 for 291 and 4 TD.  Congrats to Gainer on the first TD catch (42 yds) and first 100 yd receiving game (112) of his young career.

^ you may be once your lovely bride wises up and kicks you out!

+K for both you and Knightstalker. And here I thought RC was gonna be the one to give me hell. I guess he has the night off.

Heard about the shenanigans from someone - I didn't witness them though. I will say that I laughed out loud when I heard what happened.  There are some really resourceful and smart people on this thread - yes, even RC.

I really don't understand why Etta STILL has their starters in. It's 77-14!  When the hell do you get kids playing time if not now?!

Dr. Acula

84-14. Fulton and the first team offense on the field.  At least they stopped the no huddle and finally just started running it this possession.

Because Etta always fights! No, that's Wabash. I have no clue either. I listened to the game on WRMU (on my phone) and was wondering why the starters were still in during the 3rd. By the time it was 70-14 I was waiting for the bus driver to be at QB. Oh well. Any positives that are pointed out for the Raiders have to be followed with the statement "...but it was against Marietta." so I won't bother. Concerns...Woods still didnt get 100 yds and seemed to be contained (as much as one can be in an 84-14 game. Penalties - way too many especially at the end. DBs - I don't consider Etta a passing power and they tossed it for 200+ (don't remember exactly). I do understand much came with 2nds in. Other than that - it was pinball game.

As for Heidi - nice win..."but it was against Wilmington". Concerns.....YA GAVE UP 409 PASSING YARDS!! I know it was a blowout but...460 total yards to Wilma?

Beating a terrible football team like a drum?  Naw...  What was jaw dropping were the wings we picked up after halftime.  Good stuff.

Enjoyed visiting Mount Union...fans were fun to talk to and welcoming especially raiderguy who went beyond to hook us up.  Thank you very much!

84 points?!?!?   :o

Mount faithful seem to have all these concerns and questions offensively a few games into the LK era and then the Raiders go and set a school record for points in a game.  Wild.

Yes Berg win was against Wilmington. However, Berg 3rd teamers were in to start the 2nd half against Wilmington starters, so any interpretation of results are really silly.
