Connection reset.  Hopefully chirping is gone
Nope.  We'll live with it ... you have your gnats and we have this.

Guess we should be glad that phone service has reached Ada
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Still chirping. I'm now listening to ONU student broadcast. :-(

Heidi's 55-27 win over ONU is looking less and less impressive.   ONU is poor.

Dr. Acula

Chuckling listening to the guys describe the call of no fumble, no return for a TD by the backup D as a bad call as the coaches in the pressbox are screaming in the background.

Dr. Acula

Taurice Scott enters the game, immediately breaks off a 65 yd run on the first play.  Bad news is he lost the ball diving for the goal line at the end of it.

Dr. Acula

33 yd TD run for Scott.  The 2nd string backfield of Scott and Mitchell is unfair. Those two are extremely elusive.

Dr. Acula

And there it is....Mitchell could have jogged in for a 28 yd score to make it 65-7 but slides down at the 3 so they can take a knee.  The old LK move.

I agree 100%. What is going on with ONU? I thought they were going to be Mount biggest competition and challenge for the playoffs each year. Has not materialized though and I don't know if it is lack of talent or inability to develop talent. As for the chirping noise on the mic...you sure it wasn't coming from the ONU fans?

Jeremy Duncan from Wilm had 8 catches for 327 yards against Musky.  Too bad the Fish stormed back from down 28-7 late in the 3rd and won it in OT.  Regardless that's one impressive individual effort.

Looks like just another day at the office for Heidi. It's like a hot knife through butter. ;D

Question: are you Mount fans starting to wonder if Germany Woods is still missing something?  I know the OL struggled badly in the first few games, but today the other RB's appeared to outproduce Woods on fewer carries.  I did not see the game, just wondering.
I was small but made up for it by being slow...

Dr. Acula

I'm guessing Ric and HScoach were the only ones who saw him today.  It's tough to judge today because he had 9 carries and 3 of those were goal line carries.  I would have liked to see him avg 5+ ypc on the other 6 and he was at 3 ypc.  Mitchell has been the guy who has consistently been gaining yards.  And he's a good change of pace guy. I wonder if he starts getting snaps in the first half at some point.

Same for JCU as they're dismantling Cap.

Oh, and there's a clear separation between the top 3 and the pack and BW is not in that 3.  Again this week they're scuffling big time on offense.

I am no longer wondering. He is missing something. Yes he had 3 goal line carries and only 9 total - but if something wasn't missing I think they would be feeding him the ball more. The oline did not help him in first game, maybe the 2nd, but if we are 4 games in and he is only getting 9 carries then it has to be more than just the line. The other backs have also struggled at times - but he is getting outperformed. I think he has become Jerome Bettis - 3 carries, 4 yards, 3 tds.

I think it may be the teams they are playing and the additional talented players he is playing with right now, Mount is just plowing through the OAC right now and I see no need for him  to be trying to just pad someone stats.
