Safe travels to all from both schools making the long trek to and from VA. I'll be parked in front of the tube Saturday
and expect to see a game similar to some of the Rowan battles. Bring home the bacon Raiders.

Not sure how the Mount folks have found it, but my connection this morning from Charlotte to Roanoke was cancelled, and so was a later morning flight.  So I am waiting for the 1240pm flight to get into gametown...safe travels.

If your watching from home or haven't left for the Sunny South yet, there are a couple of great PDF files you can print off the the Stagg Bowl site. One is the media guide. Be sure to add paper it's 38 pages. the other is a flip card with the rosters on oneside and the two deeps on the other. Added both to the survival kit for the game.

Theaprof-your my savior. Wasn't really looking forward to a second 8 hours in a bus seat. The only time I ever made it both ways on the bus was 2002 and we were part of the caravan of police cars and fire trucks that welcomed all the buses back to Alliance at about 3:00 AM. Had been part of a similar celebration for Mogadore's State Championship football team a few weeks earlier

From Today's Roanoke Times:

Freshman goes from small town to big time

"We have maybe three stoplights in the whole town," said Kmic, who was part of a high school graduating class of 120 students.

Nice story. I grew up in Kimberly, Idaho. We had 48 in graduating class.....

Safe travels to all. Go Raiders take care off busniess

Congrats to Wes Hostetler 3rd and Ross Watson 1st being named to the AP Little All American Team.

My only question is where is Rusty Midlam? He ended up 2nd all time in the OAC with 22 INT's (9 this year) and is 11th all time at ONU in tackles.

Go Mount!

With all that Nate Kmic has done in the playoffs :o does he have enough time on the field to earn his letter? Sounds kind of strange that someone can rush for 1068 yards and 15 touchdowns. A pretty good for a season for most and not earn a letter? Just asking.

e_lee

He will get a letter.  Letters are generally at a coach's disgression.  I know I lettered as a sophomore at Cap, and didn't play anywhere near what one would think should earn a letter.
