Question: I know we'll talk about this game all week, and we have certainly seen would-be Mount challengers dismantled before, but when was the last time Mount did not win the OAC? I know they have dropped a conference game once or twice but the only one I can think of offhand, 2005 ONU, lost a few conference games themselves. Has anyone outright beaten Mount for the OAC title since this website was founded?

Edit: I checked. Not since this site was founded. So before 1999. Wow.

1991, my Sophomore year in college.

http://athletics.mountunion.edu/sports/fball/records/year-by-year-records

1994 there was a Three-Way Tie at the top (8-1, 8-1, 8-1) with BW-JCU-MUC for the Title.  Mount got the Playoff Bid and BW and JCU did not get into the playoffs that year.

Wouldn't that be... sophomore year in university?  ;D

I am guessing the officials will be the top crew from the OAC. Just hope you don't get the MAC crew that did the Ohio-Buffalo game.

At this point I'd gladly take a crew from the NCAC,

Two things about Mount's game today...

An uninspired game by the Raiders...

Looked like B-W needed a GPS

LOL I might have to use that sometime. I used to say, when the opponent faced a 3rd and 30 going away from the scoreboard, that it was 3rd and to Moe's, but that no longer applies.

:o  I think I would take a decent high school crew over the best the OAC has had to offer this year.

My wife keeps a close watch on me these days.

However, it IS the game of the year, and leads to what I hope will be another run in the play-offs for Mount.

Uno mas margarita por favor!   8-)

You better do what she says, brother... like me, I think you outkicked your coverage.  If she says the sky is green, then Jeff better be asking what shade of green she's seeing because he's seeing the same thing!

Well, I am going to make it so I certainly will help with the drinking of the margaritas at Ponchos.  Hoping to see many of you there or at the game.  Nothing like a short 380 mile trip across Pa to see a really good football game and have some margaritas on a Saturday.  Gotta love D3 football.

I would like to think VK was playing a vanilla offense against BW and saving the faccy stuff for this week. They really looked pretty plain on offense to me. Any comments.  ???

I have a comment for ya!  Pancho's.......11:30 AM....BE THERE!   8-)

Wish I could be there.  Have a pitcher for me! (And Mrs SaintsFAN)

How quick they grow old

The spreads for Week 11 of the OAC Pick-Em are posted.

My apologies to those players outside the OAC, as -- because we haven't had an end-of-season-winner-take-all-matchup like this in so long -- I treated the JCU-MUC game like the National Championship game and have added a number of statistical  queries.  Think of this as a post-season practice session!

OAC games - 2 points, national games - 1 point, fun queries, 1 point.  21 possible points!

Go at 'em, boys!!!

That's a really dumb idea!   You should fire whoever it was that suggested such a thing.
