It's been an exciting game so far.  JCU thoroughly dominated Fisher for a quarter and a half, but Fisher fought back and has controlled the game the rest of the way.  Let's see how JCU finishes.

JCU needs to pull a Bradley Mitchell out of the hat for 2014, if it doesn't want to waste the quarterback's senior year.

Boy, that 4-0 turnover ratio in Mount's game brings back bad memories from eight years ago.

Not the most inspirational performance by Mount today, but a W none the   less.  after last week's game, difficult to come back with the same game.  Just ask John Carroll.  Now on to Witt. which I am sure will see a different effort.

This is the WORST playoff performance I have ever experienced from Mount. At least the Johnnies were a Championship caliber team. This WJ team played their hearts out and kudos to them for that. But this game SHOULD have been a monkeystomp. Mount is sloppy. 4 turnovers, not executing. This was a bad game by Mount more than a good one by WJ. Play this way next week and Mount makes a 2nd round exit for the first time since Christ walked the earth.

Oh and who was the officiating crew? WJ got 5 downs on a drive and scored on the 5th ala Nebraska.

As amonachino said, it's a W.  Survive and advance as they say.  I expected some let down after JCU, but not this much.  Kudos to BJ Mitchell on another excellent day running the football (181 yds, TD) and Sherm Wilkinson catching it (130 yds, 3 TD).

On the other hand (and I'm not trying to be a Pollyanna here) if you're gonna have a bad game wouldn't you rather get it out of your system against a team you expected to beat anyway, fix the problems, and be ready for the tougher test next time? Come out sharp against Witt, and beyond, and this one will just be a blip on the radar.

Saw this game in person today. While I agree isn't wasn't a great performance, I think the disappointment needs toned down a bit. There was a letdown after last week and the offense performed well. I don't expect the turnovers to happen again and the defense continues to have the "bend don't break" type performances. A win is a win. I have an ugly sister, but she's still my sister gall darn it.
