After Bethany moved the ball some on the game's first drive the Mount D line is asserting themselves.  Back to back 3 and outs for the Bison thanks in large part to good pressure from the line.

Bethany is truly awful.  I'm surprised they have ANY first downs today.  They should keep track of those on the scoreboard for Bethany today.

The QB had a 20 yd scramble.  That was the bulk of "moving the ball" that drive.  Actually, I think he's scrambled for most of their first downs.  I don't know what's happened recently though since everything in Bethany (including the electricity) is down.

Comically, they threw it down to the sideline reporter who said that they were having power issues due to too much demand.  And that they were going to try to figure it out at halftime.  Seriously.  I immediately pictured an extension cord running hundreds of feet from the administration building up to the window of the press box.  Too much demand??  "Wait, you guys brought TWO laptops?!  AND a phone charger!!"

Does anyone on this board expect Otterbein to be much improved over last season?  They seem like an up and down team from year to year.  Just as likely to finish 8-2 as 4-6.  They had a down year last year, so...they're due?

4-6 is much more likely than 8-2 again this year.  They have no shot at 8 wins.  Actually, their absolute best case scenario is probably 6-4.  Realistically they'll end up 4-6 or 5-5.  You guys shut them out last year.  I won't predict another shutout just because it's easy to give up a score in garbage time, but I'd be very surprised if they scored much on SJF again this season.  They just don't have the talent there currently from what I've seen.  35-7 SJF.

You weren't too far off.  The final was 36-14 with the first Otterbein touchdown being greatly aided by the refs.  They made two awful calls to keep that scoring drive alive.  Otterbein has a capable running game but man their QB did not show anything.  They threw screen pass after screen pass.  Very vanilla stuff.  Defensively they were so-so up front but their secondary was completely outmatched by our wide receivers.  That was the biggest difference in the game in my opinion.

Annnyways, I'm sure you were all on the edge of your seats waiting to hear about Otterbein.  I see Mount Union is currently involved in a squeaker against Bethany haha.  I will watch to see if they can pull it out!

After just overthrowing Scott on what would have been a 65 yd TD pass in the 1st half, Burke hits him in stride this time.  75 yd TD.  45-7 Raiders.

For those who waited the whole off season and then have this happen, what a sad state of affairs.  They tried, you have to give them that.  They just put people in the incorrect positions.  Like Burke would be a holder for field goals only on Mount.  Yet, maybe, there, they did not have enough time or enough qualified people in the area who had the knowledge to handle the job.  Like me for example.  If duct tape is not the answer, I am not the person for the job.

And I guess Mount did not send a crew since the audio link is dead and the radio is playing oldies music. Damn.
