Mount Union kicker Ed Ruhnke in 2-car accident Fri afternoon. Treated at scene and did team walk-through. I expect him to play Saturday

Last week of the regular season ... it appears to be a runaway, but you never know.  Let's get those picks in.

Safe travels to all JCU fans driving to Alliance for the game. Why not leave early and if your ride time goes well stop in and have brunch with Mount fans in the university cafeteria. I think cost is still a reasonable $7.50 and the Mount fans are very friendly before game time.

Here we go - time to Roll Raiders~Roll!! I was worried yesterday as I left snow covered Westlake and drove to Mount. But the closer I got to Mount the better the weather. Alliance was windy - but no snow in sight (snow died out 10 minutes south of Clevetown). I do not see weather playing a role - but I see the Raiders Rolling!! My score is: Mount 49 JCU 24 but if Scott has the middle open....Raiders 54 JCU 24. Stick it to em Raiders and win this one conVINCEingly!!

Thats ok...if thats all they win. Mount winning on the scoreboard 24-7 at half. First half thoughts:
1. Mount started slow...again. I really thought they would be amped for this one and come out firing.
2. Mount DBs are doing a great job in coverage - got a pick 6
3. Mount Dline has had pressure but is getting gashed on the run game.
4. JCU defense really stepped it up on Mounts last 3 possessions of the first half.

This game comes down to halftime adjustments at this point. JCU made better adjustments than Mount last year but was down by too much at that point. Mounts O needs to stop throwing the ball away to avoid pressure. Pressure seems to be backside and they have to figure out protection - maybe bring in Nemeth on 3rd downs and put him backside.

Would anyone be so kind as to post a game update. I cant get Ric and Mark and Live Updates has been stuck at 14:57 to go in the 3rd for what seems like ages. I am going crazy from not knowing what is happening.

BJ fumbles and JCU gets a great opportunity at mid field. Ball security is fundamental. Mount needs to get a stop and they have to score. JCU has a 4th and 2 at Mounts 45...and they go for it. 1st down JCU. Raider D has to get a TO or make a stop here.

Still 24-7 Mount in the 3rd quarter. But JCU is running the ball down Mounts throat at this point. JCU has it 1st and 10 at the 30.

Thanks for the update. Worst fears confirmed. Was hoping for some good half time adjustments and a quick score for Mount.
