Why the defense ain't werkin'?

I don't want to have to make jokes about BW.  But then I look at the live stats and they force me to!

BW has not turned the ball over today.  BW does not appear to be missing any skill guys due to injury.  BW barely has 200 yards of offense and is losing to Bluffton 24-13 late in the 3rd.

ONU comes out of the gate with freshman Will Freed at QB.

Huh??

Ricardo Johnson is listed as #2 on the depth chart and has not played so far.

Lot of pub and hype around that guy to get beat out by a freshman.  What a letdown. I was anxious to see what the big deal was.

They aren't going to give up on him - I'm sure it's been an adjustment for him into the ONU offense.

Final:  Bluffton 38, BW 26

In case anyone forgot, last week Bluffton LOST TO WILMINGTON.  In fact, Bluffton was held to 10 points last week.

So, either Wilma is better than expected or BW has nothing.  (Or both.)
12-0 = 13

WOW! That should not happen. What the heck is going on at Baldwin Wallace? It's a sad day for a once storied program.

Well done, Mr. Campbell!   :D

Congrats to Matt Campbell.

Down goes the mighty SEC.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Congrats as well to ONU alum Bryan Gasser (Toledo's TE Coach).

But the focus should be on how the SEC schedules such cupcakes (and then loses to them).  Pig sooie.

Only saw a limited part of this but it seems like Arky "managed to lose" more than anything. Only scoring 10 points from over 500 total offensive yards (and only one T.O.) is a hard thing to do.

But Toledo held the pigs rushing attack to under 4 ypc and it got the pigs out of sorts. Very good coaching on Toledo's part.

It was kind of a no-brainer, but I liked Toledo's decision to take the safety. Plenty of coaches wouldn't have.

I love it when Bielema loses...can't wait until he places his foot in his mouth again this week.

Sorry for breaking protocol and bringing up a high school football game to this bboard, but I heard that Gregg Easterbrook was already accusing Meadville of running up the score.

Awesome.  Now I don't feel so bad about the 95-75 game I coached in that made all sorts of national headlines last year.  Our game was a drag compared to this one.

Bluffton?????
The boys from Cleveland got
to be hurting on this one

Congrats to Toledo...The Rockets and their coaching D3er's showed that "they know football"...I predict this will will put Matt Campbell and staff on the "Hot Coaches" list for upcoming big jobs, should he desire to move up...Are they calling the suspended game a win, since they were winning when it was called??

BW? WOW...cannot remember any loss which will be perceived as a total embarrassment by OAC fans...Perhaps Bluffton has some "stuff", however losing to Wilma does not suggest that is the case.  Will have to see how both Wilma and Bluffton fare in the future to determine the magnitude of the loss.

Buckeyes looked sick....throw up sick, for most of the game.  Short week and not respecting opponent will give Urban ammo to kick some butts this week.

"Downtown" Journey Brown has a nice ring to it...though it will never replace "Downtown" Freddy Brown!!

This game might save Oshkosh from the scorn of their 86-0 win over first year program Finlandia. But, a part of me hopes it doesn't.
