Even with Jeremy Mulkey and Charlie Smith inthe fold I can see this young man making an impact next year with the tendency Capital has to platoon and play plenty of people in the backfield when they can.

I am this bored that I am posting about a guy I have no idea about.

e_lee:  That's OK.  I came here to post that same link about a guy I've never heard of that's going to a school that I don't follow!  What's that say about me?

And I'm posting the D3'ers in the AIFL on "The D3 players in Arena Football" board. (BORED)

First one of these I've seen regarding Mount recruits: From today's Akron B-J
Hoban senior David Francesconi is headed to Mount Union where he will continue playing football and study history.
The 6-foot, 185-pound wide receiver/defensive back is a three-year starter for the Knights and served as a captain last fall.
A North Coast League second-team all-star selection, Francesconi led Hoban with six interceptions last fall

Cody Stiverson will be a first team all OACer as a freshman.

Spring football is just a few motnhs away for me, it needs to arrive.

After reading the front page story Macalester has now become my second favorite team.

Now its time to break Mounts 67 (what a #!)game OAC road winning streak dating back to '91. See y'all in the ADA.

Since the steaks haven't beat Mount since '89, someone in UH must have really pissed LK off.  Its also not very wise to piss the Dean off either. I think its was long overdue since '01 perhaps,

At what position?!?  He's got some company at RB for a couple years to come in both Nate Kmic and RJ Meadows.  I believe Aaron Robinson has another year as well and was named first team at RB in 2005.  I think Hedges is back at BW too and he was down last year but had a great Sophomore season in 2004.  The OAC has some pretty good RB's in the ranks for a couple years to come.

MOL Champs: 1952, 1950

RC's right.  I think you can probably pencil in Kmic and Meadows at the top of the RB list for the next 3 years.

I also think it's going to be very hard for a Capital RB to get the stats needed to by 1st team OAC with Pentello still at QB.   Maybe after Rocky finally finishes his 10th year ;D, but no way in 2006.

If you're going to be sitting in Ada on 10-7-06 waiting for Mount to appear for their beating, you'll be in for one long wait and a bigger diappointment. You see, the Poo Bears come to Alliance again this year. See y'all in Alliance.

Yeah I do remember the discussion about the back to back games in Alliance.  I don't like it but hey, I'm sure that Coach Paul will be able to get his boys to believe they can beat the mighty Raiders in Alliance.  I think they've done it recently.

They are only giving Pentello 10 years?  I thought for sure he was gonna get at least 12-13 years. Damn. :)

I think Cap will stay pretty balanced again this year. It worked last year, why not this year? They are probably going to have to keep the ball on the ground a little more considering they don't have that "go to" reciever yet for next year. I could be wrong and I hope I am. The defense is going to be the anchor this year.
