Trevor Thome - any relation to Jim Thome? Just curious.

Jim Thome has a son named Landon. May be related but not his son.

Here is the list compiled mainly from Twitter.  Sorry for not having all the positions.  I haven't had time to look everyone up.  To date it's 60% non-Ohio kids including another push in MI and GA this year.  Aside from the continued efforts to hit FL and PA hard GA and MI seem to be picking up now as well.

Grant Bingham,  West Bloomfield HS (MI)
Cale Boggess,  C,  JW Mitchell HS (FL)
Logan Copeland,  Massillon Perry HS
Dominic Davis,  QB,  STVM HS
Keoate Davis,  LB,  LaGrange HS (GA)
Myles Eanes,  LB,  Penn Hills HS (PA)
Alex Feldman,  WR,  Springboro HS
Tyler Glanton,  Penn Hills HS (PA)
Delmar Hall,  LB,  Lakewood St. Ed's HS
Nate Holmgren,  QB/DB,  Carlson HS (MI)
Billy Hutchins,  OT,  Raritan HS (NJ)

Read this over on the MIAC Board;
Capital University (D-III – OH): Source tells FootballScoop Hamline (D-III – MN) head coach Chad Rogosheske will be the new head coach at Capital.
Anyone know how accurate the sources may be? Rogosheske and staff were making Hamline competitive in the MIAC, if true it will be interesting to see what he can do in the OAC.
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

HScoach

Unless the administration at Capital has changed their approach, he's likely doomed.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Dr. Acula

He's from MN and played at Hamline so I was curious what would draw him to the Cap job.  Looking at his resume though he was a Graduate Asst. Coach at Ohio St. from 2007-2009 so that makes more sense now.  He's at least familiar with Columbus having lived here for a bit.  I'd still debate whether the Cap job is a smart move though.  It seems to be a lateral move at best.

Here is another way to look at it:
Since 1999 (2000 for Wilmington) Marietta and The Muskies have an identical 27.8% winning percentage. Wilmington has a 22%. Since 1999 the Browns have a record of 81-185 with a winning percentage of 30.5%. So I guess if you use the Browns as a benchmark - Etta, Muskies and Wilma are doing ok  ;D. But who uses the Browns as an example of something to shoot for? ;D ;D

Pretty sure that Marietta, Muskingum and Wilmington all have had less starting QB's than the Browns in that timeframe.   ;D

So I saw that B-Dubs is playing Defiance next year for non-con. Anyone have any info on the other non-cons?

To revisit a previous topic...winter sports just wrapped up OAC play.

Musky:  9th/10 in men's hoops, 10th/10 in women's hoops, 9th/9 in men's indoor track, 8th/10 in women's indoor track, 6th/6 in wrestling

Wilm:  8th/10 in men's hoops, 8th/9 in men's indoor track, 9th/10 in women's indoor track

I didn't include swimming since there are non-OAC schools competing in the OAC for swimming only, but comparing Wilm to just the other OAC teams they would have been last in women's and 2nd to last in men's.  Oddly, the only school with a fish as a mascot does not have a swimming program.

That should be a nice chance to invite some NC/SC/VA recruits to take a shorter trip to watch Mount play.
