Lou Berry didn't play last week either.  Ruth played the first series and limped off.  Had ice on his hip and changed to street clothes at halftime. Not sure what was wrong but he was definitely struggling to walk.

A couple items of note from this week's 2 deep:

Looks like Louis Berry may be banged up.  He is not listed this week.  Crenshaw will start in his place.

Ruth is also missing at WR.  Not sure if he was hurt or what.  Freshman Justin Hill is listed as the starter at that WR spot.

Also noted a few more freshmen cracking the 2 deep.  Brendan Klaus (OG), Richard Morris (CB) Delmar Hall (LB) and Kennedy Sanders (S) are all backups this week.

Noah Hiles (WRMU) mentioned Louis last week and said that he was banged up. Was hoping it wasn't/isn't serious. As for Ruth - he took a shot early against ONU. I would like to see what Justin Hill can do - he has made some incredible catches.

Anyone know what's going on with Jamal Johnson?  He's not even listed on this weeks roster.

Do you have the link for the 2 deep? I can never seem to find it. I keep telling myself "age doesn't affect me" - but I am clearly wrong.

Go to the athletics page and the story about the game--there is a link to "game notes" which gives you a pdf.

For those still fortunate enough to be in NE Ohio ...

... now that the Tribe has shut down the Red Sox offensive powerhouse to take a 2-0 lead, it's time to get yer OAC Pick-Em selections in.
Never underestimate the stimulation of eccentricity.

Oh man, the Raiders are going black jerseys on black pants with the matte black/chrome helmets today.  On homecoming!  Oh, the humanity!  The hand wringing in those covered stands will be substantial.   ;D

Fulford started and has played the first three series so far.  4-6, 55 yds.  He's had 2 TD passes dropped so far.  They're having trouble running the ball against Berg.  The offense is definitely sputtering again today.

Ran it better on the most recent scoring drive capped off by a 25 yd. Mitchell score.  14-7.

Mount is dominating field position.  All three TD drives were less than 45 yds.  Fulford has played the entire half so far.  21-7.

Berg goes down the field converting a 3rd and 8 and a 4th and 3 each with 15 yd passes.  D could not get off the field.  21-14.

Poorman is in with 2:56 left in the half.  3 and out.  Berg got down inside the 10, but missed the FG.

Great seats and great view at Mount game.

I like how they convinced NIKE to produce a Mount Union shoe to match the color "Raiders" is written on the helmets.  Did the Mount Union collection make The Jordan collection obsolete??

Here's a first half stat to chew on...Mount RB's had 25 carries in the first half.  NINE of them went for a loss (6) or no gain (3).

BergAlum

Berg keeping up with Mount, instead of their usual 30+ point halftime deficit.  Even out gaining Mount in total yards 228 to 198!  Although Mount has had some pretty short fields.  Can't wait to see my team collapse in the second half!  :P  But for the moral victory maybe for the second year in a row they can score the most points on Mount from the OAC.
