My first time on in a long time.  I was surprised my log on was still valid.  RE:  MUC, was Mason in the dog house for some reason.  Seemed like a long time before he came into the game.  Or was just because Jorris was so hot?

Garcon has just one...a 34-yarder in the 1st quarter (MUC's third TD of the game).  Casto has three TD catches.

Six different receivers have TD grabs.

rc- I agree on the announcers. I think the Bears did a great job responding after getting down early. I expected it a little due to the fact that BW cost ONU a playoff berth last year and they have a pretty good scouting report from a former coach all be it from 2 years ago. I think now the players know they have alot more work to do.

If CAP isn't as good as we thought then Witt is in the crapper. Congrats State Birds!

Its good to see MUC score more than 12 before half. Hope see Witt above.

hscoach- don't worry. I'm sure you will bounce back on the spreads.

The machine is back and its well oiled.
Last year Mount beat JCU badly but it wasn't so much because Mount played good, JCU looked horrible. It wasn't JCUs fault this year.  Mount looked as dominant as I can recall. Jorris was throwing bombs and bullets to a variety of receivers--the kid looked looked very good. Mount was able to do whatever they wanted on either side of the ball. Other than one good pass just before halftime, JCU was unable to move the ball in the 1H.
The speed Mount has on both sides of the ball is going to be a big problem for the remaining OAC teams. If todays game is an example of how good they are going to be every week, hang your heads ONU and Cap.

Well, maybe now if I hazard a comment that Jorris something beyond a "good" QB I won't get heckled. The kid was a stud in high school, he was very, very good as a Frosh and no reason not to believe he was going to be good (I believe I used the word "great" a few weeks ago) if he ever got his hands on the ball sometime before the fourth quarter. OK, I'm through patting myself on the back. The kid is the real deal and now he's proved it. Oh Yeah, let me echo the running sentiment about the game, "UNBELIEVEABLE"
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was...

Anybody have any question where Ricardo Lenhart is after today?

Unbelieveable!... sounds like Mr Obvious is in the house again! LOL  I would have to say LK wasn't happy about the inadvertent whistle to negate a terrific pass early on to Casto. That may have just dictated how the game was going to go the rest of the night!  Not sure if the refs had lost sight of the ball assuming it was in the fake hand off up the middle or what, maybe someone else who was there can elaborate. The secondary with the exception of a few sloppy interference calls, basically destroyed every drive JCU was trying to establish, at that point frustration was the recipe for the night.

purpled,

Where are you getting your info about Ballard's record?
In 1993, Willie Siler threw six touchdown passes and Sports Illustrated chose him as their player of the year.  Jim Ballard and the rest of the team "took it personal" the following week and beat St. John's 56-8.  Jimmy threw eight touchdown passes.  That was quite a game...St. John's didn't get a first down until mid-way through the third quarter!

The Raiders went to the left of them,to the right of them, through the middlle over the middle and in the air. ROLL RAIDERS!!!!!

Pat Coleman

While I've always felt a school can use whatever it likes as its school records, the NCAA dictated that playoff games before the past couple years did not count as NCAA records.

That's probably where Mount Union is coming from.

What if John Carroll isn't that bad?
What if Baldwin Wallace really is that bad?
What if Capital had a party and nobody came?

After a 70-0 loss, does 4u wish he was the one traded to B-W instead of Doeder???????????? ;D
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Muc-Raider,

Yep, Ballard threw 8 in one game but it was in a playoff game and for whatever reason does not count. Go to http://www.mtunionfootball.com to check out all the records.

I wonder if LK has found his starting qb?
