Next few years of Mount vs. JCU are going to be interesting.

By that I assume you mean "fun".
Never underestimate the stimulation of eccentricity.

What's really crazy is this "weaker" Mount team, was two points away from a Stagg Bowl.

What happens when they cycle through some of these DL, DB and get younger guys more experience and in the weight room??

After watching both games I think JCU was the 2nd best team.  I think they're better than UMHB.  I was very unimpressed with the UMHB offense.

You do realize there's still a Stagg bowl to be played right?? It's not out of the realm of possibility that UMHB wins it all  :o

Of course it's not.  I'm saying watching the games today I'd say JCU is better than UMHB and Mount.  That's all.  In other words, IMO UWO is the favorite next week.  That's all I meant.

I realize Davis didn't play great, but I have a feeling he was told to keep it tight on certain possessions. I really like his play at QB and hope he works hard to get better. I didn't see anything major that says he's not a leader on the field. He made some good reads and made some poor plays, but so did Jackson. I'm extremely happy with how the defense played! They made this a game. I didn't love some of the play calling in the 2nd half on O. I'd commit to the run game like the first half or open it up.  I guess I expected more from UMHB as well, but congrats and good luck in Salem.

Anyway, great run Raiders. Thank you to the seniors and good luck with your future endeavors. Get in the weight room and use the spring to get more comfortable with the defense. I just hope our coaching staff stays in tact.
I'm confident that we WILL come back stronger next season primed for another run!

What's the point of this?  It's a shame that people can't enjoy a game without this stuff.  If it isn't fun, shut it off.  Really poor form here, guys.

Yea and u probably would accept a participaton trophy. U expect better from ur starting qb. A few errors ok, but man come on.

Thank you to Charlie Dear and Bradley Mitchell.  Those two seniors in particular played their hearts out today.  If not for BJ we don't even have a shot at Salem today.  No kid wants to go out on a loss, but he can walk off knowing he did everything he could to get them there.

Great game by all four teams today.  Both UMU and JCU played very good defense today.  Their respective offenses appeared to play a little tight today in the big games.

One common thread with both teams?   Both lead by freshman QB's.   They future is bright in both Alliance and University Heights.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Well not everything. He could have jumped in front of Davis and intercepted a few of those shotgun snaps in the second half on some of the pass play calls.  :)
