QuoteThe new HC at JCU is walking into a great spot.

Interesting to watch if any players transfer to Mount Union.

I doubt if that will happen. JCU players were probably recruited by MTU out of HS and chose JCU.  Probably for the chance to BEAT MTU, which they accomplished.

Plus they'd have to sit out a year.  I doubt any kids transfer to Mount.

Pete The Waiter:  An Appreciation  (Don't worry - this is not an appreciation written after someone's death.)

From footballscoop.com:

QuoteWestern Kentucky: Sources tell FootballScoop Mount Union offensive coordinator Geoff Dartt will join Mike Sanford's staff, coaching the offensive line. In Dartt's five seasons at The Mount, the Purple Raiders won the D-III National Championship 17 times (well, not really; but doesn't it feel that way). Prior to returning to his alma mater as a coach, Dartt coached offensive line, tackles & tight ends for four seasons at Wheaton College.

I'd be very interested to hear names of possible replacements for OC. Most of the guys that have been there awhile seem happy as position coaches. I'm not sure that Burke has enough experience yet, so maybe someone from outside?

So much for my "Dartt to JCU" story. :P

I wonder why Arth is taking all of his full time assistants EXCEPT the Offensive Coordinator (Tim Zetts).  Is it Zetts didn't want to go or Arth didn't want to take Zetts?

Thoughts?
